- This time around the 2017 Aprilia tuono v4 1100RR gets some more protections, Evotech Performance radiator guard and oil cooler guard, and to give it some bling it also gets Progrip wheel tape, this mod is exactly the same for the 2018 tuono and probably the RSV4.
I hope you guys enjoy and thanks for watching.

You’re the only person on RUclips that makes good videos on the Aprilia V4. Please keep updating your motorcycle and don’t stop making videos. You’re a really big help!
Thanks Davin, the Tuono is going to be with me for a long time and anything I'll do to it will be posted 👍
Thanks so much for posting this! Much more useful than the evotech instructions which are for the RSV4, which is different.
Thank you for watching 😀👍
Thanks for the great instructions. Same installation process on a 2019. Mine is matte black. Looks so good all black 🤙🏼
Thanks Bro. LOVE tuono
Nice blue one 👍🏼
Thanks a lot for this. So much nicer to have a video as opposed to static pictures like in the instructions. One thing, though: if one has a Factory model with the Ohlins Smart EC2, when putting the left side "shroud" back on (the one with the rectifier), one must remember to make sure that the cover for the Ohlins control unit, which sits atop the rectifier, is hooked underneath the top of the shroud. Otherwise, it'll flop around (which probably isn't good). Thanks again for the video!
Thanks for the extra info 😀👍
Thanks so much for uploading. Great vid!
Thanks Chris 😀👍
Your English is pretty good, much better than Valentino Rossi
LoL, thank you, I have the advantage of living in the US and speaking almost exclusively English, that smooths out the edges, 😂😂
Nice job. I'll be installing those guards soon so this was very helpful.
Excelente!
very helpful many thanks for this video 👍👍
You are welcome 😀👍
Nice! 😆👍❤
Pin stripe looks great on the wheels, needs a steady hand though!
They make such a huge visual impact
Nice job, I also install some other brands of guards. But cooling system performance has been increased. Did also see any difference before and after Radiator guard
Hi Halil, No, not really, if there is any chance I haven't noticed. Thanks for watching
@@AlbesADV your welcome
Rubber thingy 😂
did the rad guard come with the foam strips or was that your idea? cheers
The foam strips came with the rad guard.
If you only have one choice installing a Bobbin for a rear wheel paddock stand or a Slider which one would you choose?
Probably bobbins, the rear wheel is usually protected by the exhaust and pegs on the other side
Bobbin stands
Have you noticed any decrease in cooling with these guards on?
No, not even a bit
@@AlbesADV that settles it then, thank you!
Great Videos! (:
You know what has to be done next ... (;
R&G Tail Tidy (together with all indicators going LED) and then finally the RSV4 rear tail section! It’s expensive as hell but unless you don’t take someone with you it’s just worth every little Italien penny! It is and will remain one of the most beautiful rear ends of any motorcycle. You will get a ton of clicks with your grade of quality and look out for some sponsors for free samples! (If you haven’t done this already) complete rear section with all necessary things, bolts, seats and so on cost around 600€ new in Austria
Yoy are 100% right, I have a tail tidy, but is from evotech performance, I would start using R&G if they didn't print their logo in gigantic caracters on all their products, it's kind of an eyesore, I also have minuscule turn signals, going on it next. AF1 in Austin is the only company that sells the tail conversion here in the States, I'll try to get in touch with them and see if I can get a deal, lol, it's starting to get expensive to buy parts.
although the original tail is not that ugly but evotech or R&G are both similar qualilty both expensive. Evotech looks also better than RnG on RSV tails. i just looked AV1 up, true they are expensive, already asked dealer for the conversion?
I haven’t asked the dealer, it’s always difficult to ask for parts or kits without a part number, most of them don’t really listen to what you are saying, they just wait to tell you what you should buy, not all but most, that is been my experience with multi brand parts department.
sent you a mail with all necessary part# beside riders seat and seal cowl around 600-700$ everything together new from aprilia
Thank you , your street triple R looks great.
Great T Shirt!! Dove posso comprare en Germania/ Europa?😀
There is a link in the description, but I'm not sure they ship to Europe
