Thank u so much for the guidance on proper form I have shot bows since I was 9 but would always pull straight back until I started to watch u and see how u use leverage and your the reason I feel much more comfortable shooting a deer at further distances now because I watch how u push and pull with a thumb release and it has helped me tremendously. Thank you so much Chris
My man, I was literally watching another video on shooting with both eyes open or closed and thinking I needed a video on how to shoot long distances and here it was.
Hey Chris. I’ve been watching you for a little bit now and you have really got me interested in archery, and you inspired me to get my own bow. I never thought I would want to become a bow hunter, but I love it. Thanks again and keep up the great content 💪🏻
Hey Chris! I wonder if you posted this video after I asked you my question. I met you and Kaitlyn on the practice range at Crystal Mountain TAC. My question to you was about peep alignment on the scope vs anchor point. Then you grabbed your bow from Coop and showed me anchor point consistency is an old school way of thinking. You showed me as long as your pin is centered in your peep, you are good. My pin kept disappearing past 90 in my peep due to me keeping the same anchor point. Thank you again for these pointers and I think this would be a beneficial video for all of us single pin slider shooters in the world today. Keep up the solid work and videos! Thank you.
or you could just draw and anchor consistently. precision and consistency are tied together. either way youre consistently looking through the peep and moving your head around to center the pin in the peep... or you just pull it back and anchor in the same spot and the peep will be lined up. People have been shooting perfect tournament archery scores for a long time. "old school" ideologies worked and still work. There's just only so much technique you can explore with shooting a bow that people start to make up new stuff that isnt necessarily any better.
Appreciate all your content would love to see more archery challenges if possible I want to learn more on archery skills techniques and equipment cheers 👍👊
I'm having an issue over 70 yards. My sight leaves my peep when anchored. Do I stay with my anchor or do i adjust to keep the sight and peep eclipsing? Thank everyone
Okay I have a question I know it's an older video but I'll post it on a few videos to see if I get an opinion , I am going to get serious about bow hunting as I was. just dabbling up to now but from everything I see the guru's say is this " don't sky draw, or raise your bow or down and pull up, put your sight on target and draw , if you aren't able to do this you have too much bow" SO I watch this video and almost everyone is drawing above their targets , I also read that if you draw above your target in competition that you can and will be DQ'd. So, what the heck is the right way or is this like the " don't put your thumb over over the guitar neck but every professional guitarist does it"I am so confused.
I’m struggling at 30 yards. I’m brand new to shooting a bow and bow hunting. I’m dead on at 10 yards and 20 yards. I’m hunting an area where I won’t have many if any shots over 30 yards but I’m still shooting a bit high and left at 30. I know it’s me pulling the shot and I’ve worked on hand placement but does anyone have any other tips?
If you are always consistent to the left adjust your sight accordingly. Won't make a difference for your 10 - 20 yard shots. If your 30 is still high shoot 3-5 shot groups and adjust sight vertically to the center of your grouping. Let me know how it's going for you. ✌️
For the truck shoot at TAC The rules are pretty simple - Target is set at 111 yds, measured by our range finder. You must hit the center ring on the target and arrow must be inside out. You do not qualify by breaking the line. You may shoot as much as you’d like, each arrow in the mark is one entry. No magnifiers or clarifiers allowed. Winner will be randomly selected at the end of the tour. Our target judge will have final say on all shots whether they qualify or not.
One question I have is do you have a magnifications lens on your sight or do you shoot long distances without them. I was just wondering because it would seem a lot harder without a lens.
I think Chris runs pretty true to the hunting scope set up which has one benefit... you appear to aim with a lot less movement which mentally can make breaking a good shot easier
They absolutely have a magnifying lens on their scopes shooting long distances. Try and hold even a small diameter sight dot at 70-100 yards and it’ll cover up what you’re aiming at.
@@markst.martinii9635 I only shoot up to 50 to 60 yards and I thought to myself it'd be dang near impossible for me to hit a target 110 yards without some sort of a scope. Im still somewhat new to the bowhunting scene so I figured he had some sort of scope on there. Thanks for the input👍
Anyone can shoot far... you aim higher. Shooting far accurately is what people want to do. And you forgot to mention the most important part of that.. your centershot alignment.. the farther you are, the more left or right your bow will shoot. How did this not get mentioned at all.
You tend to see this with hunters a lot because they wind the bow up higher than they can pull back without using a high draw technique. You don't see it in non-compound because the bow is still fairly lightweight at the start of the draw cycle and only stacks the most as you come into anchor.
Got the chance to meet Chris at seven springs and a big shout out to him for being a truly cool guy on and off camera
Love to hear it. He's always struck me as a genuine guy who cares about his craft and wants to get as many people as possible into it

Super appreciative and my son and I got to meet you at TAC in Michigan and that you took the time to take a photo with him. Thank you Chris.
Awesome Chris!! Just put the beereal grip on my v3x and I have noticed a huge impact on my arrow groups. Great video, and awesome information.

Just ask him out
Shot 112m in the austrian alps last week. I love those shots. Come visit Chris. You and your crew can stay with us.

Awesome to meet you at Seven Springs TAC!
Is there a Mission bow truck shot coming?
Ultraview should come out with a beereal grip for the mission bows, that would be awesome
Probably does not make sense for them from a financial point of view
@@liamboyle9199 ya probably not
I feel like anyone shopping in the Mission Bow price point isn’t the customer who is going to spring for an Ultraview price point grip
No elite lol

Was great meeting and shooting next to you at the Sitka bear.
Chris, to shoot this far do you have a bow scope? How do you line your pin up on the vitals (so small) on that target with it being so far away?
That was insane!!!!! 🤘🤘
Thank you
I don’t change much. I run my hunting set up for everything and come in at 590 gr. for arrow weight.
That’s where the 32.5” DL helps for once lol.
It was cool meeting ya Sunday in Michigan!
Found some youtuber using sanlida bow shooting 110meters with 60lbs. Still shooting well to the target
Seen ya at seven springs! At the ultra view booth.
Watching this makes me wonder how Hanes shoots at 180 yards.
Nice shooting!
Definitely read this as “How To Shoot Father With A Bow”
Would have made for a very different video 😮😂
Just picked up a phase4 29 today
It's a Chris BEE DAY!
U got affiliate for your stuff?... Ive been trying to look for your monacle range finder 👌
Wow..... I sure hope theres no sharp things left in the turf for ski season... Wht could possibly go wrong.😂
You should go to beast mode at Tyro basin
I have a hha Tetra I still have the set up tape on the sight how do I find a sight tape and get the sight really set up like it should?
My peep setup has me topped out at 80 but i am running heavier arrows
Draw weight is one of the last things to worry about.
In general yes, distance, you are wrong
It’s the Stache!
Hi what model of binocular you use and the size also
Do you ever bare arrow tune and knock tune
Do you use the UV3 or UV3XL? Wondering how much different in distance between the two.
Let’s Go!!!
hey chris what spotting scope do you use
I've found that aiming further away does the trick
I'm having an issue over 70 yards. My sight leaves my peep when anchored. Do I stay with my anchor or do i adjust to keep the sight and peep eclipsing? Thank everyone
I’d like an answer to this. So he says raise peep higher why would you do that if it’s alrdy where you need it?
Love the videos
Great vid
That’s the total Archrey challenge in seven Springs PA I was there at the Ultra view booth Chris and bought a UV button! Awesome video brother!
are you running a magnifier/clarifier or any kind?
Great tips, what binocular Harness do you use?
It’s a Leupold branded rig made by marsupial. Highly recommend their gear. Super great stuff

good knowledge share
How can you see the bullseye. At distances like that I find I’m just seeing a blob

Take your quiver off when you shoot. That’ll throw of arrow flight the farther you shoot
Setup my bow for long range shots and managed to get it shooting at 356fps, sights in to 140m with the first pin - insane
Not sure why people haul 40-44 binos for this stuff. The little 10x25 swaros or zeiss are perfect for this

Did you switch to VAP TKO's just for TAC or will you be running them this season?
You must be new here. Hes been running VAP TKO’s for hunting and TAC for a long time.
@@HuntEthical I thought he was using RIP TKO’s previously. My bad

I do not have a magnifier
@@ChrisBeeReal Thanks I didnt know I was just curious cause you've always been a great shot.
I shoot with a mouth tab, forcing my peep to be lower and it definitely forces you to keep er close. I'm deadly to 60 and that's about it
😮
Thanks for the vid....$100 gets you how many shots?
You could watch this 9:17min/sec video or you could just aim higher
Some people aren’t steady enough to shoot further😂
200 -300 meters?
Anyone can shoot far... you aim higher. Shooting far accurately is what people want to do. And you forgot to mention the most important part of that.. your centershot alignment.. the farther you are, the more left or right your bow will shoot. How did this not get mentioned at all.
You know nothing
I was shooting without sight since I was 12.
No one asked
Why do all compound bow people raise their bow over their head and pull back?
You tend to see this with hunters a lot because they wind the bow up higher than they can pull back without using a high draw technique. You don't see it in non-compound because the bow is still fairly lightweight at the start of the draw cycle and only stacks the most as you come into anchor.
65# 542 grain arrow I get 111 yards on my tape 🤷♂️
135 yards with my 462 grain 29-70lbs.
He could have added information about 3 and 5 pin also to help lower poundage bow's and shorter draw length.
I was actually just wishing you would make a good vid like this lol
DUDE YOU CANT EVEN HIT A MOOSE PROPERLY @ 30 YARDS YOU AND DUDLEY SHOULD PARCTICE MORE AT 30 YRDS
No bro, people dont understand you use a scope with magnification instead of just a pin.
From what it looks like he has the UV single fixed pin on that bow without any magnification. Shooting distance without magnification is very doable.
No magnification. Just a .10 pin
I use the same ultraview with a .019 pin without a lens and shoot 120..
