I found my goodreads goal keeps me from reading the super long books I want to read. In 2021 I plan to keep my goal lower so that I don’t feel like I’m meeting a quota and I can get those long fantasy books in!
I swear at this point they should start paying you for how much you talk about lovely war lmao , you're promoting itbetter then anyone else out there, i honestly had zero interest in reading it at first because i heard romance was one of the main points in the story and i dislike romance but then you started talking about it in almost every video so i had to read it , and tbh I don't regret it at all , one of my fav books of the year thanks to you lol
I have a cousin who’s goodreads goal is consistently over 600, and he meets it. A good portion of what he reads is comics. Goodreads is just a number, if you enjoy what you’re reading, that is the ultimate goal.
I completely agree about the enemies to lovers trope. I'm so over it. The MC and love interest often become insta-obsessed with each other which is just as bad as them being in insta-love.
I love the aspect of reading vlogs cuz they let us catch up with you and we get to see Charlie; if you don't want to do them though, what about a cooking video where you just talk about what you're reading? Not as much effort as a blog, but we still get to hear what you are reading that week, and I just want to see some of your fabulous cooking

I’m currently writing a book too, and I absolutely love it, it’s my baby, but I want to write in other ways not only to make some extra money, but to put my name out there.
Nice! I been wanting to relearn French, but decided to pick up Chinese and Tagalog first. Learning sign language on the side as well. You should consider downloading one of those free apps that can help you learn French.
