Wow. Just wow. First of all, damn what clever choice of songs! Serendipity against the instrumentals of Lovely totally changed up the feel (message? aesthetics?) of serendipity as a song. It changed from a song about innocent/pure love to a song about longing/unfulfilled love (if that makes sense). And you even edited the videos in such a way that the 2 MVs connected!! This is so cool!!!
I almost cried because Jimin is reflecting the happiness of Billie, and Billie is the unhappiness part of Jimin. Finally, they are like a puzzle, they perfectly suits themselves.

The only thing i could think of was that Jimin and Billie have a close relationship. The only thing i could think of was that Jimin and Billie have a close relationship. But Jimin was lost in the universe and was blinded by the stars that he couldn't see that Billie was stuck in a glass box and is desperately in need of help. Maybe this is a symbolization. maybe, related to the lyrics of serendipity, Jimin fell in love with a girl and was 'blinded'. Billie is in love with Jimin but knowing that Jimin loves another person, she falls deeper into depression.

You know what I actually felt throughout this whole MV...I felt like this person is LOST..like completely lost...he or she is completely losing their mind and trying to love someone who doesn't exist...I felt out of the world if u know what im saying...It felt like this person is now just tired of this world and doesn't need anything else he or she just needs the love of someone non-existing so they can love themselves and survive...That's what I actually felt during this whole video.. Jimin, bit knowing that she wants to come back to him, begins to get lost inside his own mind. His own little universe.

This sounds like a couple (Billie and Jimin) share a forbidden love where people tried so hard to force them apart that in the end, they gave in and locked them both up in a cell where they were to spend the rest of their lives. On one hand, the girl is trying so desperately to free them from their prison but over time falls into a deep depression. On the other, the boy clutches her tightly in his arms, singing a comforting tune as he tries to remind her of how much she means to him to prevent her from losing hope and sealing their tragic fate. They spend days, weeks, months in their cage, and the girl's daunting thoughts begin to seep into the boy's mind (this is represented through Khalid). Yet he manages to break through that head space and continues to serenade her, his hope for the two of them still remaining inside of him because of their undying love.
