And then for some reason the abuser makes me think that maybe the abuser is just her own fears and thoughts weighing down on her, hurting her. This song makes my soul cry in pain 🥺
I'm in a dnd campaign playing an young archer human girl who dreamed of becoming a city watch so she can help and protect others, but since the whole system is corrupted and injuste she joins the main party, who are rebels. There was a period in the campaign in which she was taken and imprisoned, got her fingers cut out, an eye removed and her spine broken, so she couldn't be an archer anymore and that dream of becoming a guard died slowly for her, so yeah, I come to listen to this song each time I think about that.
