Oh wow! Didn't know Joel wore my jacket in The Last of Us. I feel just a little bit cooler now!
it was a relief to find out these fits are relaxed, so much of my heritage gear is so frickin tight.
Great show, and noticed the jacket immediately (I didn't think about the brand name at the time, but I knew right away by the lining I've seen it before). Too bad the medium got held up or lost, but that large looks great with or without the hoodie. Sometimes I feel like I tend to want stuff that has a more fitted look, but I find slightly relaxed clothing (especially a jacket) to have a good look a lot of the time. Tend to get a little obsessive about all the dimensions/proportions when at the end of the day it just looks good.
Thanks buddy. Totally agree. It works very well in this size with a hoody. It has its place that is for sure.
I got it in Large because I usually wear Large and when I got it fit like a glove however I couldn't really fit anything underneath other than a shirt...and unfortunately I have really wide shoulders so it was hard to move. I went with an XL at the end.
I have the one in grey and it goes perfectly with a black tee, green denim, and black boots!
You can expect signs of patina just after a few wear, especially around the elbow.

I'll also add that Flint & Tinder states that the arms are purposefully a bit longer because once it creases around the elbow it will mold and the sleeves will ride up a bit shorter :)
Nice review Cam! 👌 I grabbed one of these to replace my old RgT Ridgeline that I sold a while back (I never like the unlined canvas sticking to me when I only wore a tee under it)... I'm stoked with the medium F&T I nabbed, it fits perfect! (6"0, 85kgs)... tempted to look into the F&T wool lined version now 🤙

Nice one Cameron. Like you, I had my eye on this jacket for some time and certainly before the release of the series in which it features. I have held off ordering one, but now that you have produced a video reviewing it and allowing us to take a closer look, it may just prompt me to pull the trigger on one. Nicely done buddy 👍🏼

I have a Gustin one, it’s unlined but pretty much identical to the Flint and Tinder. I paid about $130
I have two of these in medium and they fit just right. I have it in charcoal and the dark brown color. As soon as I saw the lining in the show I knew it was the flint and tinder. I'm surprised they didn't go with the RGT supply jacket since it seems to be in a lot of shows/movies
Hopefully we can get the full story about it came to be in the show one day.
RGT supply jacket isn’t a rugged look really. It’s more stylish and modern. Flint and Tinder looks is right for an apocalyptic world imo

Looked at that jacket a couple of months ago. I have a symmetry issue so had to pass due to single chest pocket. Maybe they'll do 2 chest pockets next time.
Absolutely love this jacket! Only complaint was the sleeves are kinda long. I called asking if they sold the buttons separately so I could get one added to the cuffs, but unfortunately they do not…
It's supposed to be longer than your typical fit. It's called a trucker jacket for a reason, they're meant to fit the driving or motorcycle riding stance with your arms stretched out in front of you.
Only waxed jacket allowed in my closet is the Wills jacket from Shipjohn out of Portland, Oregon USA. That thing is a beast and will passed down to my kids

Thanks man! I do kick myself i never got on the list for a Wills. I considered it back in the day with his first version. I think it is overkill for me though. commuting on the train to the office just won't do it justice haha
Great looking jacket - however polyester lining tends to absorb bad smells quite quickly. And washing waxed cotton is rather a no go

Hey man. The medium i was hoping would turn up was going to be a comparison with the rouge territory. I'll still do that if it arrives as this would be the closest fir for me to compare my RGT with. That being said, one is lined and the other is unlined so hard to tell. The lining certainly gives the F&T a warmer/softer feel. As you know the RGT is a little 'cold' when you throw that on with no lining. Lets see if this medium turns up and then I can do a comparison :)
@@CameronO can't wait to see it, I think breathability is also a consideration I do find the RGT does feel clammy on but that could be it havign no lining and the flint and tinder woudl do the same
I am sad to see Forest and Moss are sold out. Wonder when they will re-stock.
They seem to be pretty good at restocks. Considering it's all US made I guess they don't need to wait for shipments from all over the world. Forest is one of my favs to be honest!
I was excited to pick up one of these jackets but it’s been a big disappointment. by the size chart I was medium but decided to go large just in case and it’s still way too tight in the chest/back and the sleeves are so narrow you can’t wear anything under it.
The first time I put something in the pocket the canvas tore all the way to the armpit.. the canvas is so thin it’s almost transparent. These aren’t worth anywhere near $300 imo..
You must've got some sort of fully manufacturing defective piece, or a knockoff, because I bought 2 and they're the nicest $323 (each) I've spent in my life. Worth every dollar spent.

I ordered one from Belgium and had to pay additional charges. About 136€. Bloody expensive, but still worth it in my opinion. 😉👍
Hi guys, I'd love to say it was easy though as this came in with a load of other stuff from Huckberry for review the team there sorted it with customs on their end. The reason why the medium hasn't arrived is due to customs as well. I wish there was an easier and cheaper way to get them here.

It's Field Tan. Definitely not Forest. You can tell in the daytime scenes. Huckberry confirmed it.

I’m 6”2 and a little over 200 lbs not sure if i should go for a Large or XLarge
Same height and weight and large for sure. I wear mine with the waist fasteners tightened.
Same height ans weight and happy I bought the XL. I when I button it up, the button in my chest area is all ready stretching a little. Sleeves are just wright.
Does the wax rub off on other surfaces?
Like most waxed jackets you will feel it on your hands but that is about all I have found. Not seen it on any surfaces, but best be careful if you have a brand new sofa. Though I'm banned from new sofa's with denim on anyway hah
