I've gave the field tan one to my gf dad since it's darker in colour. I am now waiting for the forest colour. I seen in the review on the website that in person it is darker than the normal flannel lined version.
You are right is darker, but with use, it gets lighter in the good way. If you rewax the jacket the colour back to darker green. By the way, it is good choice 👍
