I’m going to get an emulator put in mine. I’m just going to follow your steps to take the ignition switch out, have an emulator made, and have someone take the ESL off and I should be good as new. Thanks for the video! 😊
EIS mist be programmed by a special shop if they have the appropriate license from Mercedes to program keys and these Switches or the next step would be the Actual Dealership. Also a new Switch would mean the dealer would need to program new keys unfortunately... Otherwise you cannot use this EIS. Thanks and Good Luck! 🤞💪👍
Yes it was the ignition switch. The customer took the vehicle to the dealer because we don't have a special license to buy these EIS from Mercedes and install because they come with new keys and that requires a special license from Mercedes. This is to protect themselves from thieves who wanna get access to their programs and keys! Thanks...

do i have to reprogram the key once i put a new one it or does it just automatically reconnect it self ?
