I also really liked the life preserver, the emergency locator, and the beacon you were wearing as you were making the crossing. Safety is and will always be Number One and you were certainly prepared if anything adverse happened (like going overboard when operating the boat alone). Great video!

    Question about your auto pilot…does the pump have to be at the helm? For instance could you mount it to the transom under the deck at the engine - might be quieter back there if it could still actuate the steering ram.

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  5 месяцев назад +1

      Break question, captain. But this system needs to be next to the helm because it has a Flow sensor that shuts off the pump when you move the steering for emergencies, so that needs to be close to the hell for it to work. But thanks for the great question, captain, thanks for watching.

      Hello cap. And thansk for watching and yes slow speed at night 🌙 is very safe to follow, im glad you think the same, I have seen huge logs floating in the water. And I'd like to prevent accidents because I've seen that. And if you hit it at night time and you think it's worse that if you hate during the daytime and at least you have daytime And it's more easier to handle Because of the daylight
