0:28 why do they use the EXALT logo? In regular XCOM 2, EXALT is implied to have teamed up with XCOM after discovering the aliens true plans

@Exo Falz yeah EXALT never actually existed or at least in the XCOM 2 universe. XCOM Enemy Within isn’t the canon timeline for XCOM 2. That’s why the gene mods nor the MECs were never mentioned.

Well this is a modded loading screen so it isn’t canon. And EXALT never existed as Enemy Within is a different timeline than XCOM 2

Avatar project was the reason of alien invasion in 2015 because ethereals,more known as the Elders, were searching for the race,which DNA could save them from unknown disease.They found this DNA in humans and after invasion they based an ADVENT coalition to build genetic therapy clinics,which were the traps for millions of people,who were illed with diseases,which weren’t recovered before or/and after invasion.It was the trap for them.ADVENT was using the DNA of these patients to make bodies to move mind of the ELDERS to these bodies.You can find this information at the end of the game
