There are many elderly people in this company.
The squat toilet is so uncomfortable.
You asked me to replace the toilet.
I need to assemble the toilet accessories in the middle of the video.

Many foreigners don't understand No wax ring.
We install rubber rings.
This may seem strange in your eyes.
I became more keen from foreigners visiting my channel saying that our methods were wrong.
At first, I didn't understand why I thought this was weird.
I could find ways of other countries and understand why they think it's weird.
I took it for granted because this is the way of every plumber in our country.
Please understand that our method is different because our culture, environment, and practices have shaped it to what it is now.
Just because we do things differently, it does not mean we are wrong.
In every house in Korea, it is installed the same way I do it.
If this were a problem, all the plumbers would be sued.
If you can accept that things could be done differently, there is much you can learn from it.
Just so you know, our country's toilet is a wet toilet.

@@PlumberStory I'm sure they are all being kind and some are foreigners I'm sure. Us people in the United States just are used to things being done a certain way. When they watch your channel and see how your country does things, they just dont understand the difference. I'm sure their not being mean toward you, they are just used to seeing it done the way they do it here and don't understand. Keep up the great work. I always look forward to your videos. The ones that just blow my mind are the ones filled with grease. Them are my favorite ones. I watched one the other day and the pipes was completely filled with grease. I couldnt believe it. I had never seen that before. I really felt like I had accomplished something when that was over and I wasn't even there. Stay safe.

Excuse my ignorance (I am British) but is it unusual for someone to replace a squat toilet with a sitting toilet in South Korea? I've been to a few Asian countries for work and always thought that sitting toilets were mainly installed in hotels that see a lot of western tourists, and that the local people preferred the squat type.
It only remains in very old buildings in Korea.
A lot of them are gone now.
It is rarely a new installation.
It is not installed in a new building.
Korean people are also uncomfortable with the squat toilet.

this kind ironic, many doctors says, squating toilet much way better for your bowel movement.
I did not see any water system for that Squat TOILET.... So how the hell does a squat toilet flush the waste down the pipes???
It's hard to explain in words, and I'll film it next time I get a chance.
But we're losing a lot of them too.
It's hard to clean the drain when it's uncomfortable and clogged. It's unsanitary.
But it's good for a bowel movement.
Starting at around 0:50, the vertical pipe being removed comes from a tank or cistern on the wall, which supplies flushing water just like the rear tank on the replacement toilet.
The high placement serves two purposes with varying degrees of effectiveness: more floor space may be available if the tank is mounted high enough, and the longer drop produces greater force to scour the "dry" bowl of a squat toilet.
I'm a big man. 6' 5" I am wide so when I sit down on that small toilet it would disappear. 😂

Squat toilets are almost gone.
It's a little bit left in a very old building.

@@PlumberStory you have to put a wax ring between the flange and the toilet to make the seal. I can tell you are not a plumber .a plumber knows this. I've put in over 500 toilets every one sealed with a wax ring.
