Different level of riding .. you should do a meet a "P-plater" session.. can hear your tips to safe riding.. you can ride there; can almost ride anywhere, save for any snow!
highly support this idea! if the girl in this video is the one that passed her 2b recently in one of his videos, im sure we would all greatly benefit from some motorcycle tips sharing by zwc :)
I went on 30Oct on my DR650, all the way from SG. Took 5 days to get to Chiang Mai. And 5 days to get home. I rode 4 days at MHS area. I want to ask one question: Is it True that motobikers cannot ride on Highway in Bangkok? Actually it easier to go the highway near Bangkok to go up North. I was afraid, and tried my level best to avoid Bangkok.
@@zwc888 I tried very hard to avoid getting near to Bangkok. Going up I was quite successful. Coming to SG, I was sucked into Bangkok main roads. Finally, managed to get away from Bangkok and headed South. It is better to fly up to CMai and rent a small bike. It is quite cheap. And my DR was almost 20 years. Still good, though.
Good vdo and amazing trip u've got! Can I ask how do you get the motorcycle insurance coverage in Thailand? Cos most insurers in Singapore dont do Thailand coverage extension. Can get from Malaysia/Thai border?😅
Actually it was quite cheap. 65 RM for 3 months coverage. that is the minimum they would sell you. I went up solo end October last year. There is a ton of shops offering insurance as you approach the Thai border area.
Thank you for the compliment. Yes, u can get it near the MY/Thai border, starting from Napoh. You can check out the info in this video - ruclips.net/video/Eq-3L9UW4vg/видео.htmlsi=51x5theQ2xfMejR9
No worries. Yes, 1st day we rode from SG to Hatyai. Then we took the overnight train from Hatyai to Bangkok. So we reached Bangkok on 2nd day. I think 🤔 total around 20hrs
Hi hi, good video and info for rider visiting MHS. Just want to ask u on the train part. Two years ago, I was there but they only accept motorcycles of small cc. No big bike allow on the train. Have the rule change? Thanks.
@@naqibezwnxx it's not seamless, just that we need to get the correct timing (best is if your bike is loaded on the same train you ride) and know which office or area to do the paperwork. Other than that, else are quite straightforward

Thank you for the compliment 🙏. Not that pro yet still.
🤣 I only cycled a bicycle in the snow once if that counts.

It's true, you will see a "no motorcycle" sign at the entrance of the highway

Hai , good video and good information sir , from skudai to kayu hitam average speeding sir ?
Thank you 🙏. The rightful answer should be 110kmph.
But to reach within the time frame, we might need to go at 150 average.
Tq sir for info .. need 130 above average
Bro, sorry I confused. First day you from Sg to Hatyai? I see the timing use not tally. Or was it you from Hatyai to Bangkok on the 2nd day?
No worries.

Is the passenger & cargo station at Bkk just across the road or quite some distance?
It's just across if you choose to walk over. But if you wish to take a ride over, then it's a 5 to 10min detour.

Yup, they changed it in 2022/2023. Now they allow all bikes and the charges based on the weight of the bike.
@@zwc888 Ah… thank you Sir for the info and ride safe.. 🙏
@@zwc888But is the new system troublesome? Seems like it when they unload your bike
