  • We love that hiking can be so simple. And we've made it even simpler. We took the most important features of our 17-year-old, fan-fave hiking boot and created a pared-down version with the fit and durability you love. It's our iconic hiker, simplified. KEEN Fitter Will walks through our new no-bells (just whistles) hiking boot. Available in men's and women's sizing.

Great shoes, great company, great people, great sustainability. BUT why don't you LISTEN to the vast number of customers who's soles are falling off? Your boots are excellent but you can't manage to glue the sole on properly? Internet is flooded with testimony of your soles coming apart and falling off. Why do you keep putting inferior soles on your great boots? There are so many of us with wide feet that love your boots, but we can't buy them because of the bad soles. I understand that you need to stay within a certain price range in order to maximize sales and profit, every business does. But why don't you do like many others, create a PRO-range with higher quality at a higher price. Then you would keep your high sales volumes on the standard selection, while also attracting a new segment of pro-customers. Win-Win.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Circadia vs the Circadia VENT? I assume vent is more breathable at the expense of being fully immersible in water? But VENT still claims to be waterproof on the product page, so I just want to know how waterproof they are.

I got a vented version of this shoe and it is very comfortable. I was completely sold on it until I quickly noticed the outer sole is wearing down at a very fast rate. The sole is not even remotely close to being durable. From the very first casual walk there were definite signs of wear and it has only gotten worse. I give it no more than three months before it goes in the trash.
It is to bad it is such a lousy outer sole as the rest of the shoe is what I was looking for.
