- Simply an awesome midcut boot that handles everything I'm throwing at them. Bang for buck, best value rugged hiking boot I've come across. Love 'em.

I just found these for 60 at Ross looks like I got a steal haha
Same! 🙌💯
Same they are great!!!
Just bought a pair based on this review. Thanks!
Just ordered these because of your video. Thanks
Great... You'll love these. 👍👍
Great review. I love my Keen boots. Summer and waterproof ones. A wide fit suits me. I don't tend to roll my ankles in them. If they had a vibram sole they would be perfect.
Thanks Grant... I've yet to try a Vibram sole shoe. People have raved about them, they obviously are very good I'm assuming?
Love mine! My second pair of Keens and very happy with them. The extra width is great. Got mine last November for $89 US.
Yeah, that extra width is exactly what my feet need too👌
I like mine
Seems like a cool channel. Subbed...
Cheers my Aussie brother.
Awesome thank you!
I already have a keen Targhee. Great shoe. Just bought the Cicardia in Black. After watching your great vid/ review.
Shame I could not find my size in the Brown. May be in another 5 month. Cheers Hans.
Thanks Hans... Both Targhee and Circadia boots are great 👍👍
Mind blowing...
Just got the targhee iii but they're way too stiff on the upper edge and rub bad above my ankle so I'll take them back and try these. Greta review mate, might go watch some of your other vids.
Great*
Hello mate. I just bought my first pair of really good boots which are mainly for walking the dog (but likely some hiking in the future) in standard conditions but sometimes its very wet. I went with some Hoka boots which I really liked, they are lightweight and felt amazing, however after under a month of simple dog walking (not even in wet conditions) I noticed they were letting in water from only walking through wet grass about a foot long and also there is a bit of thin material which goes around the lace area with some stitching in the middle, this was cracking in numerous places and I hadnt even used them for anything special.
Currently they are on their way back to the shop for a return and I am looking into what boots to get next. I looked at the Salomons you returned as they looked really nice and seem to get good reviews. The others were the Asolo Finders. I am wondering if you have any input into what I should get based on my needs. I want them to look fairly nice since I will be wearing them a lot and the style of the two mentioned fit me well. Both have a two year warranty so that is always good. Also sometimes when I walk the dog in some places it is extremely wet and muddy, only sometimes but still worth mentioning.
Good boots, they seem comfy.
Yes, I'm loving these boots... Putting them through hell and they are simply divine. 🙌
I know I'm leery on buying another targhee 3 because in few monthe ob both shoes rubber started to peel off had to glue. These look like a better option shoebacca has them for 89$
Anyone else get a good laugh imagining his arms out behind him anime style when he's running through the fields. Great review you turned me away from the Salomons! Thank you!
Got it... Next shoe review video, running forward in fields of butterflies, arms flying rearward, maybe shoes catching on fire 👍👍😁
Also did your Keens stretch a little? They said to go a size smaller on their website, but my toes are a little too snug on the front end, so I am debating if I want to return them and get my normal size or wait it out.
Nice Boot, Any Rubbing On The Back Of Your Heel From That Heel Tie?
No, actually feels great. Bit different idea, and I think it works well.
Very very comfortable but they fell apart within 8 months. Both sides on both feet were coming away from the sole. Shame as they look great and the most comfortable boots i've owned. I think their Ridge Flex boots were designed to fix my issues so i think i'll try them.
Hmm, that's a shame. Mine are yet to show any signs of failing despite absolutely tough terrains - but then again, I've only had them for two months. So I will see - but for $137, I can't complain. I took a close look at the Ridge Flex version but I was apprehensive as that flex part seemed to be a weak point for me, as in, they might become brittle or easily pierced or punctured where I hike.
Any update on how they are holding up for you?
Got these for 60 at Sierra and must say the build quality looks great. I won’t be hiking in these lol these will be for work but I need comfy boots that are rugged enough to go threw some muf
True to size?
@@stability703 they run a tad big but I don’t mind because I have wide feet and they feel great all day. And now that I have gotten the chance to break them in omg probably one of the most comfortable all day boots 🥾 I’ve own .
Great review! How few months later, how are they holding up?
They are holding up really good still... And I put these through hell. 👍
Thats great to hear! I recently purchased some lowa renegade gtx boots and they are great, you should definitely check them out 👍
Very nice, mate! So much time and soul invested in this video! Though the german brands like Meindl, Lowa, Hanwag, Haix tend to last much longer than american Keen... Thanks, bro!
Thanks, appreciated!
How do these compto the targhee models?
These are better in my opinion. I've tried both.
@@offtrackxplorerhow are your circadias holding up?
I wrecked my new amazon boots in one outing, viva le prime.
You obviously are too hard-core! Wow... One outing... Sheesh😳
thank you ---- interesting ; why are your soles (slightly) different to mine ? IMO the soles (I have) are bloody useless even for a 71 year old flat ground walker . I have the some soles on my ''Keen Men's Targhee III Oxford Low Hiking Shoes Dark Earth Mulch'' ; 2 pairs in 2-3 years !! KEEN have sent me a free ''good will" pair. My boots are 1/2 worn out at only around 12months old . Remember , I can wear only one pair at a time and most of my time is spent on the computer (photography)
However ; KEEN are the most comfortable foot wear for my rather broad feet I have had for many a year. I was really hoping these would be last bush shoes/boots I need to buy .
I often feel those reviewing shoes should have some sort of a sole testing ; or better still , manufacturers should have a sole wear scale .
Any tips or advice would be appreciated from anyone .
Sorry, I wouldn't know why yours have different soles... That is very odd. All I can say is that mine have been through hiking hell and they are still going strong.. At this rate I can easily expect another 2-3 years out of these. Sorry to hear about your experience.
@@offtrackxplorer Thank you for replying :)
Can you point me towards any other outdoor foot wear in a similar shape to KEEN that I really like .
Happy wandering
Well, personally, I'm looking for good value for money and the boots I'll be looking at next are the Keen Pyrenees (www.amazon.com.au/KEEN-Mens-Pyrenees-m-Hiking-Syrup/dp/B0035F896O?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ANEGB3WVEVKZB) and also the Merrell Moab 3 Mid Wides (www.merrellaustralia.com.au/products/moab-3-mid-gtx-earth-earth?ref=G1l5x6). Hope that helps!
@@offtrackxplorer Thank you ever so much! Very appreciated to get some honest no BS advice :)
Stay safe while wandering
I have a pair of these. Mine were great until the sole came unglued after about a year of wearing. Keen replaced them for me, though.
These are $135 on the official KEEN website.
Hmm, they are $279.99 currently on the Australian Keen website but $149 delivered on Amazon AU.
Lol until the sole falls off keens are terrible
