One brilliant artist and band I used to go and see them when I was only 14 or16 years ago me and my twin and friends iam 63 and still love listening to their music 🎉
RIP Johnny Fean. Such a great guitarist. Thanks for all the memories!
Yes great memories of a super band and Johnny fean rip
Saw them in Cork all through the 70’s and in Donegal at the dawn of the 80’s….. one of my favourite bands of all time and gave me the foundation to go on to appreciate Zappa, Rush, Steely Dan and much more. Even with SD’s great guitarists I rate Johnny Fean as one of the very best….. unmatchable tone❤
R.I.P Johnny Fean. April 28th 2023.A brilliant guitarist. Brought back many great memories of driving around ireland listening to Horslips. Always loved his tone and style on those Gibson les Paul's
Somehow this came up on my feed without any recent searches for Horslips. A belated RIP to Johnny Fean. All of them were fantastic musicians.
I have loved this band since I was a little kid. Nothing like them nowadays. They were unique. Sorry Johnny is no longer with us. RIP. LOVE YOU ALL FOREVER
Johnny truly was one of the best. I had the great privilege of meting him when I was 13. Utterly starstruck then and now just watching him play.
I saw horslips many times in the 70s. They were the best band to come out of Ireland with thin Lizzy
You will be missed forever. Johnny!
This needs way more views, likes and comments
Boo))
This is fantastic. Such an underrated band.
These properly remastered bits from that Dublin concert- exceptional!
I have been a Horslips fan since 1977 !
Me too since early 70s. Saw them once in York, England and met Charles in his Antiques Shop in Whitby, North Yorkshire.
Was in front row
Rest in peace Johnny Fean. Up there with Hendrix, Gary Moore, Eddie Van Halen etc as a Guitar Legend, but kept it low key.
And mam and dad...where he inherited it from ☕
And don't forget Rory Gallagher and Phil Lynott !!!
@@randycollins7910 phillo played Bass guitar
@@goldiefish72 I was thinking not only in terms of guitarists but in particular Irish muscians. Rock on me laddo !!
This is so heavy, experimental & brilliant! Love Horslips!
10 out of 10 for sound quality. I was there!
My heroes ❤❤❤❤❤
Great song, great band
An awesome band, love seeing this old footage
Never seen this footage before - excellent. I saw them for the first time in 1974 at Saint George's Hall, Liverpool.
Wow that's a blast from the past. Always liked the idea of an electric mandolin. Thanks for posting this
What a mix match of characters that somehow congeals ! Johnny rocks the guitar and Mr Carr drives it all along.😊
So so good thanks for posting
Love the drumming.
Brilliant 💖 🎶
