Thanks for sharing my story CNBC!

Getting rich by selling courses on how to get rich. The classic move.
Couldn’t agree more, I mean I would do it.
The person who gets rich during the gold rush is the not the one digging for gold, it's the person selling the shovels.

yeah selling courses seems to rack in the racks
Yeah I really lost faith in this series. At first, they had every day people, which rings more authentic and true. Now, it's just established individuals that are carbon copies of the last upload.
Yup, virtual pyramid scheme(r)s are running the US economy.
@@birdatbattlefield no milking your fans is what brings in the racks
This is how he made it (from my point of view)
1. Show what he knew: teaching about music through free RUclips videos (no money generating there but building a community of followers overtime)
2. Selling something to that community: making courses about music to sell (he started to make some money)
3. Teaching people how to make money online: as he was making some money online, he made a course about it and even more people were interested on learning that
4. Applying the 80/20 rule: he realized that most of his money came from courses about money, not from courses about music, so he focused on making the kind of courses that made him more money: the ones about how to make money!.
That's why he basically makes courses and content about money and not about music anymore.
He is a hardworking smart guy, he built his following community for years, gave away a lot of useful free content about music when he was broke, kept working and learning, improving, testing strategies, focusing on what was giving him the best results and now finally, thanks to his hardwork and right strategies, he is financially comfortable.
Does it bother you that the thing that better sell is "How to make money" content? That's not his fault, it is just what it is. Hate the game, not the player.

I invest in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional
I agree, having an asset manager for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.
That does make a lot of sense, unlike us, you seem to have the Market figured out. Who is this consultant?
Try Sonya Lee Mitchell, she is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Investing in various sources of income that are independent of the government should be the most essential thing on everyone's mind right now. especially in light of the global economic crisis at the moment. I have $560,000 sitting in savings searching for the best method to enter these markets. This is still an excellent moment to invest in equities, gold, silver, and digital currencies.
Something I’ve learned from my first bear market: You don’t have to outperform, just survive. If you can survive and let your competitors blow up you’ll be the only one left and in a better position than before.
@Bill Working with a professional to develop a well-structured investing portfolio is a wonderful approach to get started. That's why I've been working on my dealings with “NICOLE DESIREE SIMON”. Because most traders enter the market with the intention of making a quick 10% to 20% profit, I've learnt to remain patient with the market. They miss out on the massive gains since it trades at a P/E ratio of 40-50
@Phil Stones NICOLE discusses topics like insurance, retirement planning, investing, insurance, tax benefits, and techniques to reduce investment risk volatility. numerous instances of that. Just Google her complete name to see what it says. Finding her shouldn't be difficult because she is highly recognized.

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@@Believer292 Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Whether people like it or not, selling courses and coaching is going to keep growing and making people lots of money. Just like RUclips, a few years ago people were calling people out for doing sponsored videos and calling them scammers. Same thing is happening with courses and coaching.

@@youaregoingtolovethis yeah, I was confused. If anything it feels a bit outdated. He even said he started in 2010....
Isn’t it going to become harder to make money from courses and coaching since the novelty of doing it remotely will die down and people would have higher expectations with courses and coaching.
Notice how he never once talked about how anyone he has coached has become successful.. twaching people how to be successful by teaching people how to be successful.. looks strangely like a pyramid to me. And he is on top.

So he's a Fake Guru! CNBC, shame on you for promoting him.
He didn't get rich working just 5 hours a week!!!
He sells dreams, telling people to follow their passion, repeating pedantic advice such as work hard, dream big, have visions, goals and plans etc.
Even now, his title is Business Coach, not musician because that's his main source of income.
Any proper successful musician would put their title as musician. Period.
CBNC is so Shameful on these segments! I double checked a few businesses they talk about and they don’t even make 1/10th of the numbers they pretend. After taxes it’s nothing to make a show about.
But they want to inspire people to work independently per task as contractors. Back to the 19th century where the workers took all the risks for their masters (Canuts revolt in Lyon, France)
He's selling a dream to suckers, also someone is deleting replies.
He sold music education first, made some money, taught people how he made that money, even more people bought that course, he realized he made most of his income from "how to make money" content, not from music content, so he doubled down on the "how to make money" content, that makes him richer and more inspirational for his clients so he makes even more money. It's a virtuous cycle. He first worked hard creating content for free, then he worked smart and focused on the subject that gave him the most money. Smart guy.
Good for him and I like the quote "Money is a great servant, but a horrible master". 👍
Thanks so much for watching!
💯💛💜
The fact that he puts God first (Matthew 6:33) and also leads his family, as a man of God should, is the best part of this video. Anyone can be successful, but reaching success by partnering up with God is priceless.
They make it sound so easy, but he's not wealthy simply from being a "business coach". He's not a "business coach" as in that's the source of his income. He produces high quality online courses that people pay a lot of money for. He makes online courses which takes a lot of marketing, performance, editing, speaking and knowledge skills.
He's selling information that's already available for free by endless content creators on youtube. Selling courses is far more profitable than actually doing the thing you're teaching. It's a lot easier to sell shovels in a gold rush than to go through the drudgery of digging the gold yourself. I'm not knocking the guy at all, I'm happy he was able to make a better life for himself and his family but let's call a spade a spade.
Not to sound rude but the second part of your comment is exactly what i got out of the video? idk what some of y'all want from 10 minutes of content but it's very clear what the basic structure of his businesses are and he even commented to further clarify. i had a question about his income from youtube and why it wasn't included despite the sub count (that is a biiiiit sus lol) but no part of his journey seemed easy from this video. i think it's the mindset we have coming into a vid that talks about making lots of money with few work hours in the title but is actually about the years it took to build that as a possibility.
Wow, super impressed with how freely he shared about his Christian habits! 👏
Here are three guidelines to think about when investing over a short time horizon: Determine your level of risk Consider short-term instruments Synchronize goal timing with your assets
True, Not all financial goals have the luxury of a long investing horizon. Strategize short-term investments according to risk, complexity and timing needs. Consider the degree of stability needed when investing for shorter time periods
Once your investment approach has been determined, there may be additional factors to be considered related to implementation depending on the products used. Your advisor can customize a plan that aligns with your short-term goals while factoring in a broader view of your overall investment strategy

Rich people have assets, which are inflation proof. On the other hand, earned income is vulnerable to inflation. That's why the rich get richer in inflationary environments. An example, wealthy person may own several homes, rental properties(Commercial/Residential), businesses, productive land, equities, bonds, etc. The average W2 employee gets taxed the highest rate, they own almost no productive assets.
Inflation is eating up the Economy but, the rise and fall of much of finance depends on investment and risk taking, that's a fact.

Something is missing here. This guy has less than 40k youtube subscribers, no links to other social media on his youtube page and he says hes making over a million dollars a year while working 5 hours. If he's so good at teaching people to start and grow an online business why does he have such a small foot print on youtube. Seems a bit sketchy.
Alot of millionaires dont have that much followings, but know that even some of the ones who do have million followers, many of them aren't rich
Yeah, it seems like these videos are becoming paid ads more than genuine videos.
I've been making money online since 2002. (Not at anywhere near Graham's success level. He's focused. I am not. There's a lesson there, too.) Before social media, there was this thing called "email" that lots of people used. In fact, they still use it today! When you go to, say, the Kohl's website, do you get coupons from them by following them on social media, or by giving them your email address?
Social media followers aren't buyers. When I see some of the subscriber numbers for certain RUclips creators, and they share what they make, I nearly fall out of my chair, because it's pennies on the dollar of what focused, direct email marketers make with similar numbers.
By my best estimates, Graham has somewhere between 300,000 - 500,000 people on his email lists between his two businesses. And thousands of them are buyers - people who have purchased from him before, seen the value he's provided, and will buy again.
THAT is how he's doing it - just as direct sales marketers did it with mailing addresses pre-internet (look up Gary Halbert or Joe Sugarman if you're too young to remember). Smart marketers today do what's been done for nearly 150 years now. It's only the medium that's changed, not the method.
I'm so thankful for Graham; I've learned so much from him!

The problem is, the more people who work less and make more money, are just going to cause a labor shortage, making money without creating physical value isnt going to last for ever, and by no means am i saying he is not doing something valuable, what i am saying is if so many people stop building, and working on physical things, we wont have “things” anymore. We need a balance between infrastructure and brains. But the more money made on less value, the less that money is going to be worth
Nice one. I have a very profitable bitcoin trading investment offer for you that will earn you a good income aside your work you can make up to 0.3BTC. Ask me how?
please bring people with actual career and actual job that is more related than youtubers, bloggers etc. Its boring.
Yeah, this is why I prefer just watching shark tank for inspiration. People with actual creative ideas and startup businesses vs hustlers and grifters.
This is so inspirational. I’m a guitarist and an aerospace engineer so every avenue where I believe I can achieve great success with my music, I’m just glad to be informed about it.
Wow! Making million$ from teaching others make billion$, good job!
So what are you selling.
And how much
I love how every sentence is "my wife" or "my kids" 😍😍
Is he still doing the work
I appreciate the coaches that are currently still up to date doing the work
Not impress with guys just coaching and selling programs
Don't know what this guy is doing so I'm not judging
More power to him
There's a real estate guy who actually has a whole catelog of him making cold calls of him negotiating with sellers . Giving away all his secrets
He makes his money thru his actual business dealings in real estate
Yes still running The Recording Revolution (my first online business) and coaching business owners weekly. Thanks for watching!
Who’s the real estate agent?
@@GrahamCochrane five hour work week? is what is confusing
This is like a priest preaching to make money.
Inspiring story! Thank you for sharing from the Tampa Bay Area 🌴☀️🏡
Go Tampa!
His dad is like a model
Glad to see a Christian brother winning
I wonder what the success rate of his customers are 😂
that where I come in as a Data Analyst. :)
The Bible thing is no joke! Good stuff
This feels like a real estate ad.
What a great guy! Makes big money and loves God!
You seem like a humble guy that's been through a lot. Glad to see God has taken you to new heights and have given you a great family. Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration to others.
I like your house with the white paint and high ceilings. I have a suggestion, when it's time to replace your shingle roof, please get an all 100% Aluminum (wont rust) standing seam metal roof in white (which reflects the most heat) and you won't have to worry about hurricanes for 50-100 years.
The power of good content creation
there's no way this dude is working less than an hour a day making that $. Not a chance!
Thank you Graham for sharing your story with the world !!! We absolutely love it.
Let’s see. 52*5=260. He works 260 hours a week, and he makes 6154 bucks an hour or 30770 a week.
He only agreed to do this if CNBC let him show off his house
the literal 4 hour work week
It's good to see that he & his family still makes time to spend w/God. He is the source of all our blessings. :)
Why is it that all these guys sell courses about how to sell courses?
I love how he mentioned reading the bible with the family. Jesus has bleesed him. How beautiful. What a great testimony
Thanks for watching!
teaching my kids how to read their bible, that’s it, foundation of all true wealth
Insightful video. I just want to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments. I'm 27, and earn nothing less than $150k per year, but nothing to show for it yet
Well you really need to take investments seriously buddy. Even if you start small, trust me it will turn out to your absolute favor!!
>> I’ll be able to explain simple ways you can break it down to knowing what to put aside for investing! Question, if you earn about 150k a year. Then approximately you earn how much every month? And how many % of your monthly payments goes to bills and other necessary amenities? I think with that answer I’ll be able to properly guide you to starting a fruitful investments journey...
Gorgeus !
It was so inspiring! Congrats Graham and I look forward to hearing more of your stories ♥️✨
