The Park MGM falls under the "great at a low price, not so good at a high price" category. (I seemed to always get those "roof view" rooms at the Planet Hollywood.)
Those hallways are SO bad though - I think they keep the lights so dim so you don't notice. I don't even remember what they were thinking with those huge elevator lobbies when they first built them. It's almost like a first-person shooter from the 90s.

It was very nice when it used to be the Monte Carlo Casino. The big elevator lobby felt luxurious in the old days with everything all white and bright. I had a upgraded room off the elevator in the Monte Carlo days that was so big and luxurious that was fit for a movie star. I was so impressed. Glad I had a chance to experience that before everything went down hill. Love the non-smoking casino though.

I like Park MGM. You can walk across the street to NYNY. Walk to Aria. Take the tram to Bellagio. And you can scoop up a suite for $125 or a regular room for $50-60. Not too bad for the Strip.
DANNY THE MEDIC- When I stayed in Dallas at Hyatt House I asked for the quietest room and they gave me the LAST ROOM down the hall, a 2 city block walk- but it WAS quiet, never heard a thing (food and travel guys, food and travel)🤪

Danny, I heard the front counter clerk say it's a comp room. You must have spent quite a bit to get to that status or that you're "Danny the Medic" and they are treating you as a celebrity. I'd like to see you eat something downstairs at Eat-taly. Enjoy life Danny you're in Vegas and you know the city!

I always wondered what it would be like asking for their worst room. I would suspect the ones with the worst view would be in the most clean and pristine condition with the least wear and tear since low floor and bad views would usually be the most undesirable to people and probably get used the least. This definitely looks immaculate.

Its a underrated and overrated property at the same time. If you can snag it for a deal, I don't think there's a more convenient hotel on the strip. Great restaurants on site. Great smoke free casino. Tram to the Bellagio located on property. Ironically, its convenience to T Mobile Arena is usually voided when the price for Park MGM shoots up astronomically. Ive gotten comp stays at Bellagio or Aria, while Park MGM wanted like 150+ a night lol. Ill just take the tram to T Mobile Arena at that point.

I had a great experience at Park MGM. Used the app for check in, check out and as a room key. No lines, no waiting, no human interaction whatsoever.
they been getting rid of humans lately, I notice there is a 5 dollar blackjack that is just a video lady doing the dealing

I stayed at the Park MGM early August and the room was dirty. 18 floor, carpet was dirty, big stain on it, white socks weren't white after a while, hair in the shower, dust in the corners and I never heard someone vacuuming during my 5 day stay. The shower had the pressure of a fire hose though.
In Niagra Falls there is a hotel ironically called "Fallsview" that sells rooms with NO window. I'd take a lousy view over that any day, too claustrophobic for me, lol.
😊😊😊nice room for the people who dont care about the view. If you want a real crappy room my I recommend a Circus Circus Manor motel style room? Last time I stayed in one was the 90s and still have nightmares. Every other time I stayed at Circus Circus I got a tower room. Its like staying at the Waldorf compared to the Manor rooms..lol

Think the worse view is at the Sahara, it faces the stairs to the monorail, second worse would be excalibur facing the interior or the property on a low floor.
The only thing wrong with that room was there was no Beef Chow Fun comped also. I bet you had tap water in there though :D

Room's not too bad. Loved the view.😂😅
I stayed there a month ago (20th floor, decent view of the pools)…my only real complaint was the housekeeping; left the room for breakfast @ 9am, still unmade when returned around 2-3pm; had to flag down a maid in the hallway to come clean my room. Otherwise, it’s a decent property for a 4-night midweek comp (+$39/night resort fee).

Hilarious! The front desk clerk either did not understand English very well, or she was able to keep a straight face while you spoke. She did give you a room with a crappy view. But, everything else looked pretty good. Nice to know that their most disgusting room is acceptable.

You didn’t mention there is no place for your cloths, no drawers nothing. I used to stay when it was Monte Carlo, and only once as the Park when it was still smoking, never would ever stay there again.
I myself never use drawers in a hotel, I believe them to be nasty with all kinds of nobody knows what... I just leave my clothes in my suitcase
It's not bad at all. Maybe that's why the front desk lady kept a straight when you made all your silly requests. Just an errant light bulb. That rooftop could be converted to a nice terrace.

funny u say that... in the NYNY there is a fake neighborhood (food court) that you can sit in the streets of ny without the urine smell!

Dont know how you were able to stay there after that high pressured shower gave you too much water. What kind of hotel does that?!?
here at the rio on this trip, there was only 20% water pressure.. my shower lasted 5 times longer!

Danny! Where are the closets? Nice room otherwise. Functional view, you’ll be the first to know if they have a ventilation mishap. Also as a medic, aren’t you aware of the medical benefits of cannabis? Legal in Nevada. I was on the floor and that angel at check in was amazing how she put up with you.
