Also, I liked how the anime streamlined the meeting even further by removing Echidna's intermission, giving the episode an even more non-stop and disorienting feel, as it would seem to Subaru.

thing I love about the respawn concept, its explanation and the properties is the reasoning that its easier to recreate a world than take ot back 10 seconds. makes me wonder the reality aspect where IF we technically time travel, are we just manipulating the past from a memory pr from ACTUAL turning back because each second spent has more energy in existence than time coming. I love how the concept of subarus time spent is one line regardless of the repeat of everyone else in the show. Amazing
the fact that people do make slight changes to their speech and action suggest that the world itself isnt recreate from zero rather than the consciousness of everyone is sent back in time. also they will not retain memory but still instinctively feel something familiar, odd, when the same event reenact again.

I mean it makes sense in an energy point of view. I mean the fact you'd need more energy than the culmination of conscious thoughts/memories of each individual AND their bodies to travel faster than light. Why I will respect your point of saying they are going back because its nothing proven yet, so I'd prefer to believe in the laws of physics where its more viable to recreate the world entirely from a fixed point than it is to time travel due to the intensity of time travel, the strain on the paradoxical nature of time considering the notion some can perceive it as cyclical, streamline, multiverse theory (which I feel most plausible) or the basis of omnipresence and omnipotence ; not at all considering that gets into the issue of our own existence since we can't disprove ANYTHING or prove it, just as we can't be more of the current times because our consciousness as humans actually developed the purpose of time out of our own well of thoughts and feelings. Its like the issue of finding something that can measure time.

I appreciate that you are keeping up to date on these episodes so that there isn't footage from future episodes in it. I'm watching it subbed on my own and then dubbed with my family since I got them into anime but they don't want to read subtitles, so they are behind on episodes. Before we were watching the cut content one episode behind so there wouldn't be any issues with seeing footage that wasn't in the episode that was being discussed, but it seems like at least for now that won't be an issue anymore.

It's actually heart breaking that he basically betrayed Petra's feelings by giving them up to the witch. Her tender innocent crush on him was pure and cute. He basically sold it to the witch without a second thought.. Even if only they know about it.. it still happened. To be fair, she has no chance with him because only Emilia and maybe Rem have any chance, but still. She did give up 2 boyfriends to follow him around. I wonder what repercussions that will have on the future. Will Echidna start crushing on Subaru just like Petra was? Will Petra become cold to him and forget about him? Did the witch do that out of jealousy? Did she do it out of mercy for Petra? What can she possibly do with it now that she has it? So many questions.
To be fair, Subaur didn't really know what he did. Wait, petra had to suitors following her? Also, yeah, you think Rem has No chances to beat Emilia? Petra is in an even worse position. the only route where she got with subaru was in the lust if, that almost everyone disregards as "it doesn't matter". I would find it funny if Echidna took a little bit of Petra's crush though. it might not happen but it would be funny. Also, maybe petra would find subaru in a logical way as in "i get why i feel like this. but is okay if he doesn't do anything. or i do anything". as in "she would know why someone would fall in love with subaru, but only in a logical way"

Maybe just making people suffer and trampling on their feelings gets her off. As far as Rem goes, there is no way she'll beat Emilia, but I think it's inevitable for Emilia and her to work out a deal to share him. At least a little.

On the new episode i realized that Subaru acted more like echidna because when he risked his life just to know what ticks off Garfield he could've died but he didn't just like when echidna told subaru to tell her about return by death. she didn't know what was gonna happen when he told her. this is like that but he could've died and would have lost his progress which is pretty bad because it seems that NOW every time he dies something changes like in the new episode it looked like Emilia didn't suffer in her sleep which is a big change. but i would love your opinion
Well Subaru feels more confident now that Echidna told him there is probably no limit to his RbD power. It's not that anything outside of Subaru's control changes, but Emilia cares so deeply for others before herself, that as soon as she saw Subaru was in anguish she ignored her own pain to help him.
I had a dream I was Subaru and I had to kill myself to fix things. I was scared. What if for some reason it didn’t work? What if I stayed dead? That was circling in my head over and over. My dream helped me understand how Subaru feels
I had one too! Me and my brother had RBD and we knew about it because we tried talking to someone and Satelas hand killed that person. At that point we both knew that one of us had to kill ourself to reset time and so he said he would do it. While I was cheering everyone up telling we would make things right(and them not understanding anything)my brother comes back shaking and saying “I can’t do it...”. After that I got desperate because anytime we could hit a check point so I ran to the kitchen,grabbed a knife and stabbed my throat just like Subaru did for Rem. It was so agonizing,I didn’t feel pain but I couldn’t breathe and I woke up desperately gasping for air,it was almost as terrifying as some of the sleep paralysis I had

I'm just trying to figure out if Greed is sealed away and he obviously spoke with Gluttony and other witches through Greed, how is there another version of Greed and Gluttony in the first episode of season 2? And do they know the existence of the witches that are sealed within the tea party?!
Authorities are transferred to a new user upon the death of the current one. The Witches at the Tea-party were the previous users of the Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Lust Authorities.
So if Dona was sealed away by the Dragon, maybe that explains some of Roswaal's actions. He mentions either in S1 or the OVA, that he wanted to "take revenge" or something of the like on the Dragon. Maybe this is part of the reasoning.Maybe some people can confirm that or disprove it without LN spoilers?
Witch of Gluttony, Daphne, is definitely my favorite. From her design, manorisms, and powers ( its like she created the great beasts on a whim): she's a textbook example on how to write an intriguing character

*SPOILERS....n all that....* Not counting Pandora, who us more than a little implied to be downright nasty, Vainglory n all that.... and Hector, whom we know next to nothing about other than he's literally a 'sad clown' (....Irony~!) who beat the crap out of Roswaal... It's really hard to outright call tbe Witches 'outright evil'. This is something I've noticed particularly in Japanese work over a *LING* time now, but outside of the most explicitly 'evil' and/or 'good'... characters and situations are bathed in buckets of morally grey of the traditionally mirally flexible, or are depicted as just being too far outside the window if acceptable range. Subaru himsrlf, while being a fundamentally good and kind person, is barely any different than the Witches in how straight up broken he is. Like, this occurred in WN Arc 6 iirc, but didn't it? When one of the Archbishops of Gluttony 'ate' Subaru's memories and was driven irreversibly insane? Coming from one of those lunatics, that's saying something. He also has a lot in common with both Roswaal and Petelgeuse. Oh, and there's Exlchidna's reaction to Subaru's memories. Now, she prolly didn't 'experience' them like that Archbishop did, but the point is, that you can't be normal in either having a conversation about them, or having lived them yourself. In a way, Subaru's current mindset is probably not just a self defense mechanism to kerp from completely losing it, but a natural consequence of his experiences. I mean, the way Return by Death is seen.... is in no way very pleasant, even when things rnd happily. Subaru is uniquely alone and is, by default, forced to carry the weight of that fact.... all alone. For him, discarding the past as easily as you breathe is dimply a means to an wnd towards the 'correctly desired' outcome, whatever that may be. His death has bern reduced to a means yo an end scenario, which isn't something a normal, much less sane, person would come to acknowledge as a simple fact not worth glossing over. That's kinda why I feel like Ech8dna is so curious about him. It's a bit like looking at yourself.... but not. I also like Subaru's surprise at having those aspects pointed out since he's not that aware that he's like that. Hell, this is why I hate the folks who feel Subaru should never leatn or change... those psychos who feel this should just be a 'shaggy dog story'. I'm the opposite. Loneliness and the journey to come to terms eith, and overcome that Loneliness in a world that literally continues to try to kill you just bc it can, is one where you ultimate *HAVE* to be 'rewarded' in the rnd, not that you'll necessarily get what you want in the end, but you'll still be alright when it's all over. I just hope he gets Rem back when it's all saud and fone though....

The ranking goes Satella most powerful then sekhmet and I don't know what comes next but she isn't the strongest. Echidna was able to gather everyone's souls because they all died coincidentally around the same time. It was said that Daphne starved to death but as she is immortal, it's kind of unthinkable. BUT, if she was immortal and died of hunger then you can theorize that Daphne's weakness to her immortality is the fact that if she doesn't continually eat then she might die something along those lines.

thing I love about the respawn concept, its explanation and the properties is the reasoning that its easier to recreate a world than take ot back 10 seconds. makes me wonder the reality aspect where IF we technically time travel, are we just manipulating the past from a memory pr from ACTUAL turning back because each second spent has more energy in existence than time coming. I love how the concept of subarus time spent is one line regardless of the repeat of everyone else in the show. Amazing
the fact that people do make slight changes to their speech and action suggest that the world itself isnt recreate from zero rather than the consciousness of everyone is sent back in time. also they will not retain memory but still instinctively feel something familiar, odd, when the same event reenact again.

I mean it makes sense in an energy point of view. I mean the fact you'd need more energy than the culmination of conscious thoughts/memories of each individual AND their bodies to travel faster than light. Why I will respect your point of saying they are going back because its nothing proven yet, so I'd prefer to believe in the laws of physics where its more viable to recreate the world entirely from a fixed point than it is to time travel due to the intensity of time travel, the strain on the paradoxical nature of time considering the notion some can perceive it as cyclical, streamline, multiverse theory (which I feel most plausible) or the basis of omnipresence and omnipotence ; not at all considering that gets into the issue of our own existence since we can't disprove ANYTHING or prove it, just as we can't be more of the current times because our consciousness as humans actually developed the purpose of time out of our own well of thoughts and feelings. Its like the issue of finding something that can measure time.
Why I like the thoughts on it where they mentioned that they aren't traveling through time, but instead its infinitely less energy expending a reset point and wiping memories and deaging people than it is to manipulate a concept of chrono physics, almost triggering the issue of "you are your grandpa" of timetravel, where my theory is you CAN ONLY TRAVEL 10 seconds back at best as one person since any further in either direction would cost too much energy and put too much strain on the fate of that one individual, or rather alter 10 second decisions to correct minor mistakes.... (JUST like Galaxy Quest). I do hope this explains why I respect your point of view on the discussion while maintaining to my view on it.

I appreciate that you are keeping up to date on these episodes so that there isn't footage from future episodes in it. I'm watching it subbed on my own and then dubbed with my family since I got them into anime but they don't want to read subtitles, so they are behind on episodes. Before we were watching the cut content one episode behind so there wouldn't be any issues with seeing footage that wasn't in the episode that was being discussed, but it seems like at least for now that won't be an issue anymore.

On the new episode i realized that Subaru acted more like echidna because when he risked his life just to know what ticks off Garfield he could've died but he didn't just like when echidna told subaru to tell her about return by death. she didn't know what was gonna happen when he told her. this is like that but he could've died and would have lost his progress which is pretty bad because it seems that NOW every time he dies something changes like in the new episode it looked like Emilia didn't suffer in her sleep which is a big change. but i would love your opinion
Well Subaru feels more confident now that Echidna told him there is probably no limit to his RbD power. It's not that anything outside of Subaru's control changes, but Emilia cares so deeply for others before herself, that as soon as she saw Subaru was in anguish she ignored her own pain to help him.

While I was cheering everyone up telling we would make things right(and them not understanding anything)my brother comes back shaking and saying “I can’t do it...”. After that I got desperate because anytime we could hit a check point so I ran to the kitchen,grabbed a knife and stabbed my throat just like Subaru did for Rem. It was so agonizing,I didn’t feel pain but I couldn’t breathe and I woke up desperately gasping for air,it was almost as terrifying as some of the sleep paralysis I had

Authorities are transferred to a new user upon the death of the current one. The Witches at the Tea-party were the previous users of the Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Lust Authorities.
So if Dona was sealed away by the Dragon, maybe that explains some of Roswaal's actions. He mentions either in S1 or the OVA, that he wanted to "take revenge" or something of the like on the Dragon. Maybe this is part of the reasoning.Maybe some people can confirm that or disprove it without LN spoilers?

It's really hard to outright call tbe Witches 'outright evil'.
This is something I've noticed particularly in Japanese work over a *LING* time now, but outside of the most explicitly 'evil' and/or 'good'... characters and situations are bathed in buckets of morally grey of the traditionally mirally flexible, or are depicted as just being too far outside the window if acceptable range.
Subaru himsrlf, while being a fundamentally good and kind person, is barely any different than the Witches in how straight up broken he is.
Like, this occurred in WN Arc 6 iirc, but didn't it?

Now, she prolly didn't 'experience' them like that Archbishop did, but the point is, that you can't be normal in either having a conversation about them, or having lived them yourself.
In a way, Subaru's current mindset is probably not just a self defense mechanism to kerp from completely losing it, but a natural consequence of his experiences.
I mean, the way Return by Death is seen.... is in no way very pleasant, even when things rnd happily.
Subaru is uniquely alone and is, by default, forced to carry the weight of that fact.... all alone.
For him, discarding the past as easily as you breathe is dimply a means to an wnd towards the 'correctly desired' outcome, whatever that may be.
His death has bern reduced to a means yo an end scenario, which isn't something a normal, much less sane, person would come to acknowledge as a simple fact not worth glossing over.
That's kinda why I feel like Ech8dna is so curious about him.
It's a bit like looking at yourself.... but not.
I also like Subaru's surprise at having those aspects pointed out since he's not that aware that he's like that.
Hell, this is why I hate the folks who feel Subaru should never leatn or change... those psychos who feel this should just be a 'shaggy dog story'.

Loneliness and the journey to come to terms eith, and overcome that Loneliness in a world that literally continues to try to kill you just bc it can, is one where you ultimate *HAVE* to be 'rewarded' in the rnd, not that you'll necessarily get what you want in the end, but you'll still be alright when it's all over.
I just hope he gets Rem back when it's all saud and fone though....

Is it only me or... Daphne is the most dangerous of the witches??? How could Satella even realize the act of killing her without being eaten herself????? She's so weird and frightening! How did Echidna even trap her soul without being eaten herself? Is it because she's stronger than Daphne?
The ranking goes Satella most powerful then sekhmet and I don't know what comes next but she isn't the strongest. Echidna was able to gather everyone's souls because they all died coincidentally around the same time. It was said that Daphne starved to death but as she is immortal, it's kind of unthinkable. BUT, if she was immortal and died of hunger then you can theorize that Daphne's weakness to her immortality is the fact that if she doesn't continually eat then she might die something along those lines.
