It looks higher quality than I thought it would be. I always appreciate a bag that uses storm guard zippers for the laptop compartment. Thanks for the review, Bo.
+audax989 interesting. Can you program it and safe the settings inside the keyboard? And can you change the back light color of each button individually?
Bo Ismono not too sure about the programmability but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t allow for per key rgb. For the price thought its a pretty good value. Banggood.com usually has it on sale regularly.
+audax989 ok thanks. I just checked availability in Germany, because I need the German layout. Unfortunately it's not available in Germany and therefore I would need to buy some keycaps. The overall price wouldn't grant replacing my poker3 unfortunately just for the Bluetooth capability 🙁
Really cool video man. Thank you for sharing. I like your style. Could you please let me know what the small packs/pouches are that appear at 0:53 of the video (they just caught my eye)?
Hi Bo, can I check if the backpack straps have a slot or compartment to hide them if I wish to carry the bag by the side handle like a suitcase? Thanks in advance!
I've looked into this bag myself, Its $180.00 USD, on their website they show those loops for a U style lock, nice touch I used to ride bicycles a lot and finding a place to put that big lock was a pain. The website also shows a key leash-cord does yours have that? I think its attached to the front top quick access the one you keep your snacks in.
I do like my key cords Its one of my quirks when I'm working or riding my Motorcycle I like to keep my keys out of my pockets, I tend to stick things in my pocket while working, pens, note book, lens caps and filters which are easy to scratch so I keep coins and keys out, I try to keep my phone in the bag too, but it usually ends up in my front pocket, don't want to miss a chance to post on instagram :) There is also a thing about having a bunch of keys hanging off your motorcycle ignition switch supposedly it can wear it out faster plus on bikes like yours they could scratch up your paint, on my Harley the switch is on the right side of the bike so its not a big issue. I also carry a spare ignition and house key too.
+Donald Kline oh wow. That is good to know with the keys on the ignition. I actually have two more keys hanging around the ignition key. I guess I will take them of then.
I really like the boxy design and this bag looks great but i'm not a fan of holding a backpack like a side bag or hiding backpack straps. There is rarely a good accommodation for their volume. A clam shell travel-bag that looked like that and my credit card would be out!
I'm actually currently trying to get a Tumi bag for review. I have no opinion about them at the moment. But fingers crossed, that I get one in the future.
I haven't tested the Barrage yet, but looking at it online I would say that they are two different bags and it really comes down to your personal preferences and loading style.
+Lydus yes, I use it for Syrup . I usually have one bottle that I fill up with tap water and then add some syrup for taste. I haven't seen Ikea's packing cubes here in Hamburg. I wasn't aware that they had them. Thanks for the info
You should have been aware because i pointed it out to you last year :D I can't find the ones I'm using, it seems that now they have these: www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/90328178/ But I already don' like them because of the big amount of small pouches.
+Lydus true. Sorry for forgetting. But I was at Ikea two weeks ago, and they did not have them there. I rarely go to their website 😂 but thanks for the link
Do you think with the boxy shape of the hightower it can fit a 17in laptop in the main compartment. with a height of roughly 11.5in. It looks like the hightower is about 12in wide and I'm not sure if it'll zip up. I need to put a 15in in the main compartment (mbp) and an hp 17 in the main container sometimes. Also does the high tower come with too many organizational things on the inside? From your review of the rhake it really looked like the perfect amount where you aren't getting pen pockets and such, but spaces to fit stuff in if you want and use cubes for the rest in the main panel. It's a tough decision. Neither have shipped to me yet but my gut says I'll probably end up with the rhake. My biggest concern with the rhake is the roll top. I've never had a roll top bag before.
I can't answer that question unfortunately. As 17" PC laptops or rather most PC Laptops come in many different sizes, it is hard for me to actually confirm if your laptop will fit into the main compartment. Furthermore I don't have a 17" laptop to actually test it out. In terms of organizational compartments, the Hightower has a very decant amount. As I said: You can't go wrong with either IMHO, it just comes down to your preferences. But since you ordered both you can at least try it out ;-)
Hey Theo, For all my videos I decided not to include links for the products. Everyone is living in different countries and therefore has to deal with different shipping and customs fees. That is why I would advice everyone just to Google the product within their country to find the best deals. For instance: I live in Germany, It wouldn’t make sense to give you a German link while you might be living in USA or Asia. I hope that is understandable.
Hey Keegan, That is a very good question. I guess, if I were a little taller, then I would say the AER Travel pack. It is a great carry on backpack for travels up to four days (at least for me when I don't have to carry extra shoes). And it can be compressed for Daypack use. But with my size of 170cm it is just slightly too big to use everyday. Other than that I would say the PX Design Invisible Backpack 2 is also a great backpack
I just googled the Douchebags Explorer. Just looking from their pictures, to me they don't look similar. But maybe I'm looking at the wrong one. The one I found is shaped oval and has some board straps across the front
It looks higher quality than I thought it would be. I always appreciate a bag that uses storm guard zippers for the laptop compartment. Thanks for the review, Bo.
Thanks for watching the video, Miguel!

Wow a poker 3! As a keyboard enthusiast myself its refreshing to see minimal mechanical keyboards every chance I see them.
The Poker3 is my favorite keyboard. It comes to work every day. I just wish there were a bluetooth or at least a micro USB update.
Bo Ismono you might want to check out the anne pro. Its cheap bluetooth and has rgb as well!
+audax989 interesting. Can you program it and safe the settings inside the keyboard? And can you change the back light color of each button individually?

its been so long since last lbb bag reviews, do more pls :)

Yes the loops are designed for a u-lock. But are also great for a bicycle lamp ;-) And the key cord is in there as well

Almost forgot I'm planning a trip to Portland. Oregon next year, maybe I'll check their store out.
+Donald Kline oh wow. That is good to know with the keys on the ignition. I actually have two more keys hanging around the ignition key. I guess I will take them of then.
+Donald Kline cool. Let me know how you liked the store. Would love to check it out myself one day too
Great review as always Bo, I really like to look of this backpack.....
+Views from the Man Cave thanks for watching. Hope you're doing well. Cheers, mate 😉 ✌️
I love the box shape
+David Solt 😉✌️
That a big back pack price ?
I have a sling bag from chrome
How did u hang up skate board?

+Jules-Frederic Nerestant if I think of a boxy clamshell opening bag, I will let you know 😉
what is your opinion of tumi luggage and messenger bags. I would like to know if you think tumi is worth the money. thank you
I'm actually currently trying to get a Tumi bag for review. I have no opinion about them at the moment. But fingers crossed, that I get one in the future.
Hey bo what’s the orange colour thing ? Your powerbank?
Hey,
That's my extended EDC. Check out this video ruclips.net/video/l29KJ1HDhL0/видео.html
I have a Chrome barrage cargo bag. I want to trade it for this transit bag.. you think its a good idea?
I haven't tested the Barrage yet, but looking at it online I would say that they are two different bags and it really comes down to your personal preferences and loading style.
The IKEA bottle is just great, I use them every day :) Have you already tried their packing cubes?
+Lydus yes, I use it for Syrup . I usually have one bottle that I fill up with tap water and then add some syrup for taste.

No worries. I think it's very cool that you still manage to reply to most comments!
+Lydus of course. Speaking to all of you is a lot of fun. Thanks for your support. Cheers, mate 😉 ✌️
Hi ! What is the brand of your watch ? :) Many thanks ;)
+Romain Defèvre hey Romain. That's the Steinhart ocean 500 titanium 😉 ✌️
Is it waterproof?
What are your thoughts of this vs Mission workshop rhake. as both work / laptop bags.
+Doug Quesnel both are great. But I personally prefer the look of the rhake. The Hightower is just too boxy for my taste

No link to chrome industries actual product item page?

now youve done it, i have to get a job in an office so ill have a silly excuse to put this bag on buy list. (shakin fist) :-D
😂 best comment! Thanks, mate! And sorry for fuelling your bag addiction ;-)
Will you test any of the Douchebags?
Hey Ivan!
The Douchebags are on my wishlist. I hope I can check them out in the future.
I would sign up for this give away 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
it looks heavy, even when empty
Yes, it is slightly heavier then other bags, but it's not that bad.
Final score - 8
Best looking ? ;) hmm i think Deuter Grant Pro is good looking every day backpack
price in euro?
I just googled: In Germany you can get it for €180.-
What is the best all purpose backpack you have come across?
Hey Keegan,

your name is so javanese
+Tessi Ananditya my dad is from Java and my mom from Jakarta to be exact 😉
Bo Ismono ah i see..i found your video through youtube recommendation. keep up the good work, Pak Ismono ;)
+Tessi Ananditya thank you very much 😉 will do
Looks suspiciously like the Douchebags Explorer.
I just googled the Douchebags Explorer. Just looking from their pictures, to me they don't look similar. But maybe I'm looking at the wrong one. The one I found is shaped oval and has some board straps across the front
