Netflix didn't advertise Rebel moon,
(Even if I liked them) Releasing the PG 13 versions first was a red flag on Netflix's part and really lessened the excitement,
And the directors cuts are not doing well because they were under advertised.
All of this contributes to this whole tragedy.
If Netflix is turning their backs on Zack, it's a shame, but maybe Zack can explore newer options for his projects.
@@richardabia9735 But part one was successful actually, not really a Big successful but it was fine. Maybe could be another one and that's it. I don't like unfinished stories. I think his next project will be Horse Latitudes because will be a small movie, according to him.

Anyway, I am just praying Twilight of the gods and horse latitudes or, whatever Zack will do will be well promoted. Zack really does deserve a win again.
I think what happened is Mmost people feel they have seen it and then click on the DC version and see it is 3 hours long and dont bother watching as that is an investment.
I'll never understand why this dude wants people to watch his crappy movies two times!

The first one is so kids and young teens can watch the movie and the second one is for Adults only. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. And no matter how much you pretend you don't know that, you know.
Netflix asked him to do it and he did it. At least, the PG 13 cuts will keep young teens away from woke, manipulative, Disney Star wars. And the Adult version is to see the true version which is uncut, more fleshed out and all around better.
The only reason the director cuts didn't do well is because Netflix didn't advertise them at all, and the PG 13 versions being released first was a mistake. Not for some stupid "everyone is tired of Zack's movies" nonsense . That is not the reason they did not do well. It's Netflix's fault and maybe Zack's fault also for agreeing to their nonsense strategy of release (especially after his WB experiences).

Zack needs to accept that he is a good director, but he is not a great script writer. He should direct movies based on other source materials. Otherwise he will end up making mediocre movies all his life.
well, there was nothing wrong in the director's cuts script-wise. It was pretty good. Mediocre is kind of a reach here.
