On the HUNT as a SILENT Sniper in DayZ

- In today's adventure, I tried out a new DayZ map called PNW for the first time. The map is set in the Northwestern United States and has some interesting new locations and weapons. I got my hands on a new sniper rifle, the Mossberg Patriot, and had some fun hunting for pvp across the map. I hope you all enjoy!

Edit: almost sure the last dude in PD was downstairs when you went up in the little weird side room… then he let you go up and waited for you for come down. Truly no clue why he reacted so slowly. Almost looks like he lagged out or something. Ha

What type of servers do you play on? Vanilla or modded? I kind of like this pace of Dayz better than Aftermath servers I have been on. Not sure if this is Vanilla though.
This was on the Vanilla PNW server! I recommend it if you're looking to try out a new map and server!

@@scholarcormier if you snipe someone if they fall down in a unconscious position it will look different to if you killed them, try it on a mate so at long range if you can’t tell if you killed him watch how they fall down, another little advise 😉
Scholar, you can disable the bleeding screen effect all together, or you can disable and re-enable it to wipe the screen, fyi.

Hmm, only advice I would have is to make a goal to achieve for each life, I find the game more fun that way 👍👍

Love the content. But some advice from a 12k hour player since Arma 2 Dayz Mod days as I was getting a little frustrated watching.... be more patient. unnecessary and overdone flanking costs you time, and potential kill shots. Pick an angle and commit to it. Hesitation and Indecision will get you killed far more often than sitting in a single spot. Be more patient don't rush the shots. wait for the right shot not necessarily the obvious one. Another thing is so stop moving when you fire. Thinking you hit someone for sure when in reality you had your hand on a movement key even for a microsecond and your bullets went to somewhere in Montana. a bad habit to get rid of when coming from other shooters. Besides that you're doing AMAZING.
Some great tips here, you definitely have to play differently in DayZ compared to other shooters!
How were you able to survive in the gas zone with no NBC?
I think it was just some aesthetic fog and not actually toxic gas!

It's a custom map that also includes new guns, clothing, etc. So, not exactly vanilla I think, but not too modded IMO! 👍
