- In today's adventure, we're on the hunt for the new DMR rifle on Official DayZ servers. The latest 1.23 update brought in a new weapon along with changes to the Northwest Airfield and Skybox. My journey to find a DMR and explore the new NWAF ended up getting me into some PVP action, so I hope you all enjoy.

Like the video my friend. Myself, I prefer the M16 with the 60rd mag and burst fire, AK gets a little too much spray for my liking. On another note, I've found over 50 DMR mags and not 1 DMR... gotta keep grinding though

Thank you! Yea I decided to try going with a short and sweet video this time since my last one was my longest one yet! I also like seeing the journey of gearing up from fresh spawn, so I'll definitely be including that in more videos in the future 👍As for the Savanna, I found it in the hunting shop in Novy Sobor with a 10 round mag already inside it, pretty lucky! 😁

Thank you!! Well, I've never gotten a grenade kill, and I get a bit paranoid about it getting shot and blowing up inside my backpack or something 🤣 I have started to take them sometimes though haha
I joined a community server and for 14 hours played I haven't seen a single player this is a joke
Wow, really? Was the map Chernarus by chance? This run actually was about 8 or so hours for me, and even though I spent most of the time at NWAF, Tisy, and heli crashes on a full server, I only saw 6 people. I recommend trying out a smaller map with less POIs like PNW or Namalsk, I find way more action on those maps in a fraction of the time! I've been enjoying them a lot for that reason👍
@@scholarcormier indeed I agree with you - but in skeptical about this server claiming it has 80 pop but I’ve never seen/heard a pin drop 😂
@@sangrail Yeah, I've heard that some community servers spoof the numbers to show that more people are playing than the real number, so that could be the case on the server you are trying! If you are looking for a vanilla community server, DayOne and Dusk have been pretty good for me!
@@scholarcormier well not long after I commented I've had some serious action go down - chernarus can be like that sometimes
Look up the server on google there are sites tracking player count in real time. I think itis called battle metrics

Was playing last time and played more than 2 hrs and only found 1 guy camping at apc, went there and guy was gone, saw dead player and all and found nobody, have dmr and want to kill a player, at least 1 lol
Yeah, the worst part about Chernarus is how long it takes to find people 😭 Not seeing anyone for hours is pretty normal. In this session, I played for about 8 hours on a full server and only saw 6 people!
@@scholarcormier lol been there to. On high pop servers I get to kill more but not always, 1 time got killed with a glock and was fully geared😭

Awesome! It's such a strong weapon and very fun to use! Did you guys also venture into the bunker for some black plate carriers and NVGs? I haven't tried that yet on official
@@scholarcormier no, we need to head to the bunker but first we need an acces card! I still didnt find any convoy on livonia but still is one of our goals! DMR is the king of medium range sniping! Cant use it without a supressor or a plastic bottle! Drag a lor of attention
