Thanks for doing these and sharing. Really enjoyed them.
Now we are planning an Epic Overland for 2022, and love to hear of your Route from Moremi/Xakanaxa or North Gate through Savuti to Kasane

      Hi WildLifeObsessed,
Apologies for my late reply - was out of internet on a hiking trip.
Our route we took from Northgate to Savuti was the marshland road (not the sandridge road section) as we did not expect the marshland to be muddy as we travelled in the dead of winter. So no much rain was expected.
It turned out to be an easy road, but we did see signs of deep water puddles and lots of mud when the rainy season kicks in.
We stayed over in Savuti. Next time I will stay more than one night (But I was under pressure from a # of days point of view)
From Savuti we took the road leading to Linyanti, turned left, and shortly after right, to travel towards the Ngoma Bridge / A33 intersection. Please note this road was sandy. Very sandy for a huge part. Momentum is key, but be on the lookout for hoops / ridges which may cause you to become airborne if you have too much momentum / speed.
If you are towing a trailer or caravan...mmmm... good luck. Best to be in convoy if this is the case.
I deflated my tyres for sand driving and just kept the momentum going. Did not get sand trapped once, but was airborne once :-(
      Maybe I overdid it :-0
In the end it was an exiting road to travel, but for some of the members in the vehicle it was a long road. It will keep you busy behind the wheel :-)
The road to Kasane I decided to travel through the Western entrance of the Chobe NP to the Eastern entrance. VERY enjoyable road indeed. Used the road closest to the river. Enough offroad sections, PLENTY of wildlife, and in general a very nice trip.
      Thank you for watching

Thank you for your informative Videos. I like them all. We are thinking about visiting the Elephant Sands on our trip to Namibia and Botswana next year in june. Can you recommend it for a stay of two days? Is it noisy on the campsite? Greatings from cold and rainy Germany, Michaela

Hi Michaela, it is noisy in the main camp, especially the restaurant / main reception area, due to the visitors. It seemed to us as if people forget it is a wild place in Africa and children should be educated to respect the wildlife and nature.
It is a wonderful place to visit!! I have not spent 2 days there, and would be difficult for me to say what it would be like.
That said, we are going back the end of June 2020 for another night, this time Bush Camping and not camping in the main camp! 😁
