Thank you for speaking out about your health, I have had a scare with really high blood pressure this year (along with chest pains) and although it’s under control now I was frightened and ashamed at 40 I needed BP meds. Now I have been talking about it 3 of my younger friends have been checked and also have high BP! I am convinced it’s because of modern day stresses and looking after everyone else first xx
Definitely something in the environment. My husbands blood pressure was at one point 224/146 and he is on 4 blood pressure medications and his BP is still constantly high around 149/112. He’s had an ECG, heart scan and kidney scans but the doctors still don’t know what’s causing it and now have seemingly stopped investigating it.
He has no energy to do anything and collapses quite regularly with it. He had to quit work and can’t leave the house or even shower alone. He’s 36, it should not be happening so young. It’s scary.
I hope everything is ok with you now.
Could it be the J.A?B Everyone took. It has been shown to cause BP and heart issues.

So happy to see your smiling face this morning, I have been thinking of you during the week. Went from watching on TV to my tablet to comment and realised you were wearing a time turner necklace. That made me smile really wish they were real. ❤❤❤
I hope you get the treatment asap and you feel better soon, please take care of yourself…….put yourself first for a while and let your family do for you. I know it’s hard as a Mom as you want to do everything for your family yourself but as you say your children are a little older now so let them do for you till you are on the mend. I work in health care in Canada 🇨🇦 and know how fast things can go sideways if you don’t put your own health first. Lots of love and hugs 🥰🤗

I'm so glad you're better now i been in and out of hospitals for 15 years... i had a heart attack at a young age plus diabetic, panic attack, etc 😳 😊

Emma it is scary having heart problems, that’s why we had to cancel Disney in September because they don’t want me going on rides. Look after yourself and you must relax and rest ❤

Heart palpitations are so frightening and exhausting, I live with tachycardia every time I stand up or stand for too long and it's exhausting. I know it's hard as a busy mum but resting and eating well are so important xx
You need a hobby you can do in bed or curled up on the sofa like crochet or knitting - they are known for having meditation like qualities and may help xx

I love the hair cut! It's so effortless chic looking but also seems really laid back and fun. Like Thats the hair cut of a woman that makes me go 'yep shes the one I want to hang out with and pelt malteasers at the back of people talking in the cinemas with'.
I chopped my hair to my chin once and regretted it purely because of the shape of my face and my natural parting. If you didnt look at my face it was a fantastic hair cut. If you looked at everything my head looked like a McDonalds chicken nugget because my hair stopped at the widest part of my face 🤣 I would suggest pinning back the longer layers and seeing how you like the look of the shorter hair before committing to the chop.

We live in County Meath in Ireland. If you are visiting Dublin or that area, there is a theme park called Emerald Park which is in Ashbourne Co Meath, which your kids might enjoy. It's the only one in Ireland.
Thank you for sharing your recent experience, it’s something I am going to look into more as since the age of about 14 up to now and I’m currently 31 I have experienced random heart palpitations, sometimes out of nowhere or sometimes from something as little as bending down to pull up my sock! I have had a chest X-ray and 2 ECG’s (back when I was younger and in more recent years) but nothing has ever been identified. Before the palpitations would only last a few minutes but as I’ve grown older they can last over an hour, my heart rate has read 199bpm before on my Apple Watch and sometimes something simple like coughing can correct it or sometimes I have to wait for it to just go by itself and try deep breaths. I find I have jaw ache when it happens, not sure if you have experienced this too before? I don’t smoke and rarely have any caffeine. I am going to continue to monitor it and look to go back to the doctors about it. Thank you for sharing you will have helped so many people x

So glad to hear your feeling better what a scary experience. Ireland is great for family's if your staying in Dublin there are two stadium the aviva and broke park for football matches, the guinness tour experience had the best 360 degree view of dublin.

Glad to see you’re feeling better. I literally went through something similar had an ambulance out and got taken to A&E as had constant heart palpitations that weren’t easing. Went on my own as didn’t want to disturb the kids 🥺
Currently have a 24 hr heart monitor on as they’re not sure what’s going on. Very long wait list in Cornwall for cardiac appointments.
What a scary time for you. I hope you’re feeling much better and that when your procedure comes along it’s as speedy and trouble free as possible

oooo can't wait to see the Ireland vlogs! My daughter has half a heart, and my partners mother recent got diagnosed with SVT too! she went into surgery to try and shock her heart back into where it should be, but sadly it did not work, so she is just continuing on medications instead as they didn't see the point in putting her through the surgery again if it's not working, I wish you all the best with your journey with this!

Sorry to hear you’ve had a bit of a health scare 😔. I’ve had similar heart issues and decided to ditch the junk/ice creams/sweets and take some more regular gentle exercise. My asthma and general health have really improved the last 6 months!

So glad you’re feeling a bit better now and finally have answers. So are they saying you don’t have asthma at all or just didn’t have an asthma attack? My husband started suffering with BP issues around the same time he was diagnosed with asthma, so I’m wondering if it could be connected to?

Glad you’re better but you should complain after seeing the doctor so many times and having tests and they’ve not picked it up and told you all the symptoms was asthma and perimenopause, it’s wrong on so many levels x
Emma, sorry you've been poorly 😔 Ireland attractions to visit Guinness Storehouse. I know Stephen doesn't drink it, but it is a brilliant tour. Cliffs of Moher is another beauty or kissing the Blarney stone. For the kiddos a visit to Emerald Park is a must. Feel better soon 😊 lots of hugs from Ireland 🇮🇪
Do a day trip to Aran islands , also a lot going on here at the minute a lot of crime so please be careful especially in Dublin/Kerry a lot of news reports on attempted child Abductions in those areas something that wouldn’t be normal In Ireland.

I also got misdiagnosed with anxiety and asthma. Very frustrating. Keep hydrated salt and water together. Look up breathwork course. Dr Boom Lim cardiologist has videos on here. He’s Amazing and takes a holistic approach as well as a medical x

I agree that hospitals are super disorienting. Getting poked and prodded at regular intervals all day and night, not necessarily being able to tell what time it is. And they’re like little rat mazes trying to get to anything. (I had an appointment today with a specialist at the giant medical center where I lived. It involved going down one floor on an elevator in the parking garage, across a sky bridge, winding my way through one hospital building, going across another sky bridge, figuring out what “tower” I was supposed to be in, finding the right elevator, and going up 7 floors to get to the right office. And everything’s under construction always.)

@@brummymummyof2 thank you! I’ve been battling the cough that never ends. The ENT figured it out and now I’m on medicine to help! (God bless Vanderbilt. I know US medicine is so expensive, but we do have some absolutely amazing hospitals and doctors. And living in a city with one of the best research hospitals in the world is a big benefit.)

Diagnosed on august 22 official last year stage 3 ,but the pains are so bad they drive my too accident and emergency but never had a answer ,take care xxx

I have POTS and my heart rate alarm was going off in hospital because even in the bed it wouldnt go below 130. The woman opposite me ahd alarms as her heart kept going in the 40s BPM. But our alarms were out of sync so it was like they making a song to entertain the ward! ❤

Hi bit of reassurance this could be perimenopause/ menopause that’s has triggered this for you, fairly common ( if you’re worried about kids developing same issue),

No need to buy extra creams for shaving, I’ve always found hair conditioner does a better job than anything else
That's what I use too. Does the job and it doesn't even need to be a fancy one - cheap ones are just as good!
