Honestly Mirio is amazing for being able to fight off such a powerful foe quirkless but what amazes me is how effortless overhaul was reacting to mirio. Its been shown countless of times that mirio has one of the fastest attacking capabilities in the entire show and is known for his unpredictable attacks with impeccable timing. mirios actions to eat the quirk erasing shot are portrayed as heroic but was ultimately reckless and could have easily ended with him dying and overhaul escaping with Eri had the others not arrived in time the alternative was for eri to take it, lose her quirk which she hates anyways at this point of the story, and overhaul instantly loses while eri is safe from any potential further harm. this would also patch up the massive plot holes that eri's quirk causes like why she never restored all might, or x or y, etc

Doubtful. Yes, Overhaul's quirk literally cannot win vs Permeation (the quirk Mirio was born with), because it's all slow, easy to dodge physical damage that cannot go through invincibility. But Mirio is so insanely incompetent at using it that Overhaul could probably turn the tables around somehow.

If he learned that, he could've walked around above the ground - he could see, hear, smell, etc. Alas, Mirio is one of the biggest retards in the show. Therefore, in 18 years (18!) of his life, he learned absolutely NOTHING. This is canon confirmed - he has a quirk that allows you to travel instantly between any two points on the ground, and yet he lost the Sports Festival the year before Deku arrived at school. Mirio only learned how to use the baby basics of his quirk when Nighteye taught him how to do it. So no. It wasn't hard work. It's like saying you masturbating all day is "hard work" towards getting a girlfriend. Protip Herocuccs: it isn't.

He loses his quirk, and instead of showing how he fights without his quirk, they show panels of him jumping around. This moment just deserved a little better. Next episode I know we're going to end up seeing where the budget for this fight when. But overall, it was still good. Just not amazing like the manga fanbase expected.
If you didn't understand, the reason why they portray it like that is to show how much time has passed when fighting without his ability. He probably spent a good 20 minutes fighting powerless. You can actually see his uniform gradually gets damaged in each frame. Look at Hacksaw Ridge movie for example. It showed Desmond Doss rescuing but didn't show all of it in real time. They just show enough that time passed by after rescuing a certain amount.

That's why he retconned its existence, so that it doesn't create a massive gaping plothole in the story. People act like 75% of the episode were naruto just storm 4 panels to fill in emotional when it was literally not even THAT much and somehow the WHOLE episode is bad because of it? Not like it was a purposefully done effect which has nothing to do with a already finished and released MOVIE.. They even had two seperate teams for this season and the movie, most of the team stayed for this season, most of the very talented (plus guest animators, ect) joined in for the movies production! Hell, Bones even decided to release this season further out than usual just because this season was gonna be heavily action packed, way more than the previous ones. I honestly found this episode to be one of my favorites this season, and to me, I didn't see anything wrong at all and I saw the effect they were going for with the still shots, it made my jaw drop as I kept watching. Afterwards I was actually shocked to see some negative responses to this fight (most from what I saw were from manga readers like me...) So yeah, so what if there is some still shots, at least it isn't as bad as SDS season 3 like you said lol. People need to kinda calm down and realize this is Studio Bones animating this... Not Studio Dean..
