- I Know It's Today, performed in Seattle on September 21, 2008 (Seattle's closing night performance). The three Fiona's are Sutton Foster, Marissa O'Donnell, and Keaton Whittaker. Keaton was the only one of the three not brought over for the Broadway production. It's a real shame too, as she has the strongest voice of all young Fiona's.

***** Judging from the applause when she made her entrance, Sutton must have a large following. I can see why.
+Sandra Grabman I was actually at that performance. The applause was for the effect of Teen Fiona exiting while holding her note and Adult Fiona entering holding the same note and the vocals were so well matched that you couldn't tell when they switched. It really made the perfect illusion that years of time had just passed during those few seconds. But indeed, all three of the actors deserved the applause. They were amazingly talented.
+Sandra Grabman She has a huge following. She had already won a Tony award for Thoroughly Modern Millie and had been nominated for Little Women. (I think I have my years straight.) That transition is pretty amazing - but Sutton was already a WELL known star.
+HarringtonTribal she actually been nominated for all of the productions she has been on Broadway but one. She has won Tonys for thoroughly modern Millie and anything goes. She is also in the tv land show younger
+Sandra Grabman Sutton is awesome! She went to my middle school and high school. Funny cause we're also doing shrek for our HS musical this year (Opening night in 3 days lol) Such a great show to play in the pit for!! :)

It's so sad. Because all the other princesses had some drama happen while they waited, but Fiona-- Just like she said, only waited! Imagine being trapped for years in a small room, alone, with nothing to do.

I guessed that Fiona either bowls using the bones of knights that Dragon killed, or Dragon stole bowling supplies from a nearby village, or Fiona's parents had bowling equipment built into the tower. That's just what I think though
I assumed it was bowling like pitching for cricket. Far easier to practise in a tower than bowling with the pins.

Little Fiona is 7 when she is locked in the tower. The next Fiona is 9 because day number 945 is 2.5yrs later and the 3rd Fiona is 30 because 8,423 is 23yrs after she was locked in the tower at 7yrs old.
I think it's supposed to be 9, 15 and adult. It's would be fun if the numbers were right :)

Well, this is awkward. I did the math, and technically "Teen" Fiona is only NINE years old, as the script mentions that Young Fiona was sent to the tower at age 7. 958 days is not nearly as long a time as it sounds. I've loved this song forever, but I'm just now realizing I wish they had thought through the lyrics more carefully. Then again, 3,058 days, which would have been a more accurate number for Teen Fiona, (setting her at fifteen rather than nine), would have made Adult Fiona's line "8,423" less funny. Oh well. It's still a great song.
I didn't think her line of 8,423 was funny at all I thought it was sad and depressing and you can hear it in her voice

I doesn't make sense. The 7 works, but the fifteen and 23 doesn't. The second Fiona says day number 968. Thats not even 3 years. So that means she's eather 9 or 10. Sutton foster says day number 8423 that's about 23 years. That means she's 30!!!
