You would not want to hear this but...We have dug out wetland properties like this to de water them, divert and raise them...for huge buildings to go up .sadly, slowly the world over farmland close to towns are becoming housing.
I would be looking at where any over flows are going to go, there does seem to be a lot of water on the ground in the wet season, if the area builds up too much it will create water logging in the area, you dont want to become a sinking city.
Hi We had something very similar in Thailand where they made vege gardens and catfish farm in between and this was very successful, this was done by a company called Golden Line business in Petchabun Thailand where I was ruining and setting uup a large poultry processing plant due to the bird flue outbreak we wanted to utilize all available options around the massive land area available, and it worked very well, so yes it certainly looks like that.
Looks like a Cat 314 , a nice fast machine . I work with excavators and water myself but peat not sand mostly . Guy is doing a great job it’s gonna be spectacular when it’s growing a crop
I’ve seen the coconut farms where all the coconuts are tossed into the home made canal for easy harvest and transport by canoe raft to the end point .....working smart not hard...
Your vloggs are cool mate the way you just cruise round everyday life and talk us through it mate. Question haven’t seen any temples in your vloggs. Have you seen any or maybe they are not popular.
@@NowinLao we got the first Mavic air. It's been superglued after crashing it and breaking the wing at Kuang Si but surprisingly still works like new :)
Great video mate 👍, all the best for the young fella Coco. I hope they don't build anything too close to your house, you might have to plant some shrubs or trees for privacy and get a head start. Privacy is a big deal to us soft westerners 😅
🤗🙏🏼Good morning! I too love oatmeal, a bowl before going off to work every morning. I hope it’s readily available for you. Do they grow oats in Laos? I prefer the old fashioned kind, just plain. Thank you, enjoyed the video, as always. 🙏🏼
Hey Todd,,nice little close to home vid. I hope to hell that shit they were spraying isn't toxic,,,agent orangish lol. Completely off the vid subject..today I watched one of the very greatest Oz movies of all time. I've known about it for 30 years or so. But never had opportunity to see it,,,,,," Breaker Morant " omg that was a great movie. Dad thought it was good too. Bryan Brown was a young dude ,,now he is a grizzled, wrinkled old man. Damn good movie,,can't believe I've never seen it before..I bet Neenee is correct about the coconut fish farm,,better than houses. Stay safe and vigilant, buddy,,Ttyl,,,Marlon
Australian classic mate.. great movie! Yeah, big relief it's not more homes here 👌 Nah, it just smelt like a weak mix of bleach... i am starting to develop a lump on the back of my head tho 😝 Take care Marlon
I remember getting into Cambodia during the SARS epidemy and we were forced to walk through a 10cm deep chlorine bath not sure the measurement but say 2meter x 15meter and about 10cm deep and in the other end you had a register where you had to sign a paper which read something in the lines of, i hearby declare that if something happens to me in Cambodia, the state of Cambodia is in noway regarded as the problem and no insurance will cover any sickness or something like that, so anyways i think they sprayed Chlorine, since its should "kill" the virus or make it non working. Was it Chlorine or something else? It didnt look like anything they do when the Dengue fever is hitting, then they use a form of gas that they spray using those rocket engines, it definately could have been just simple Chlorine
Land is rather expensive over there too. We purchased a home in the Philippines it was rather costly as well. Can foreigners own land in Lao? I could not own land in the Philippines. My wife is the owner over there. Thanks Todd. Best wishes Bob.
Bo pen young. TA bun yoong. How is that for craps Loa? Oh and by the way lets hope it's not the sewer leading to the Kong. What they did but us was dig a huge hole. Bricked it top to bottom but left the bottom perimeter open for flow down to earth. They keep it simple.......
Lots of work going on there. Are the Chinese big in there? Are you not worried that they may take over completely? There are some great prices there. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
The spraying does nothing practical, but I think they believe it gets rid of any virus that might be on surfaces, not realising how quickly viruses deteriorate outside the host. It can be mildly useful inside a building just as a way to restore confidence in the ‘safety’ of that building. We sanitised our school this way after a student tested positive, but tbh it serves no real purpose.🤗
Spraying is to show they're doing something. It's like having to take your shoes off when flying in the US. Instead of actually doing something useful, at least look busy.
That is really low for property taxes, I live near Dallas, TX, the government criminals charge me $9750.00 for property taxes on a 2300 square foot home.
Hey Todd, thank you for answering my question I was thinking a meter reader person would make the rounds, but was unsure about paying the bill. That must be one helluva job getting around to everyone in all the remote areas and villages. I saw Neenee's video a few days ago about the sanitizing the interior of the house and asked about all the moisture on your big screen TV. From her video it was totally saturated, hope all is well with that and everything else indoors. I too do not understand why they would spray outdoors, it seems to be a bit of overkill. #StaySafe #StayHealthy BTW, can I trade tax bills with you and Neenee? 😂

Another great video, keep them coming.
Look up aquaponics. using fish to fertilize and plants to clean the water and recycle it back to the fish
Loved this video, so good to see all the fresh produce. When I was young in London we had similar but they were destroyed by supermarkets.

Good Vlog mate , look forward to seeing that fish coconut garden thing
I have seen many different farms grown like that in Thailand. Anything from Panadan to Bitter Melon. The use small boats to go up and down to harvest

Wow that’s interesting !
I work with water growing cranberries
Sir....you live like a 👑...nice view of land...wow
I think they are growing vegtables there, and other foods, wow hope ur plants survive the spraying

Hopefully all your plants can survive the spraying 😎

Hey brother are there any good lands there lately
I have seen that style before where they grow big fruits on the land and then float them to a collection point and fish in the water
I know exactly where that is, my cousin drove me around when I visited
I hope the sanitation spray hasn't damaged the furniture.....I mean, they meant business. Glad things seem better for you & the family now. 👍👍😊
No damage by the looks of it.. 👍

We had the sanitation team around a week ago, spraying Chlorine everywhere including the bed. I'm not that dirty 😂
Neenee got them to do inside but once she seen how wet everything was getting she kicked them out lol 😆

Hey Bob, nah, it's the same as the Philippines. Only citizens buy land. Get away from the city a bit and land is dirt cheap.
