actually i was looking forward to my audi rs5 next year but when i saw this beautiful car at a hotel today i directly fell in love :) and then the driver started the engine and i got really really impressed.
Ryan Adams..thanks buddy. Yeah I am aware that it's not gonna be a cheap car to maintain..I love cars so I guess there are the pros and cons. Nah this won't be my daily ride..
@LightningWindow Thats not smoke, it's just cold outside with a high compression motor. All cars have a mist from the tailpipes on cold days and its cool as hell to look at.
this is duo-select 4,2 2005 with 26,5K miles some mods in excellent condition 38,7K car is in NJ. Read previous comment and email me if u have any questions
I absolutely love your videos Just wanted to ask do you still have this Maserati or did you sell it ? Just curious Now we’re in 2021 she is an old girl now . I’m curious if you sold her and got a newer Maserati or something else .. take care
They have different exhausts....Stock exhaust of 4.7 is more agressive than 4.2 If you hear my one that is custome exhaust, I assume that one is more agressive and throaty than 4.7 (GTS has similar), but that is up to personal choice.
Totally agree with you, tell you more about it.....read some story on Maserati forum....guy removed troaty exhoust cause it was too loud to drive with it everyday and bothered people living around him....i guess he is just old for that simphony
pre 2007, the transmissions are terrible. there is a small lag between reverse and drive that feels very awkward. its a manufacturing defect and is completely noticable even to a first time driver. my family has a 2009 quattro sport, tires need replacement on the front ever 12,500 miles roughly, and i believe the rears are 10,000. It's definitely not a cheap car to drive on a per year basis given that. however, spend the money and you can drive it around the country without problem.
What year is this car? How is the maintenance? I've read over a lot of forums claiming that the pre-2007 era are very costly. Once you have the true automatic there are a lot less problems. Thanks
@77witx I like it so much......That is custom exhaust Tubi loud version, with X-pipe. Check another video : Maserati Quattroporte Exhaust 2, you will be impressed more then. And let me know how do you like it.....Just click on link above this comment (Exhaust 2)
Be ready for a lot of maintenance. However if u love cars like me then it's worth it you know? My brother has an 08' granturismo and loves it, but it's not his daily driver, as yours shouldn't be either. It's not too reliable
+Ryan Adams I am thinkin n getting a granturismo. But I checked that 2008 modls arent that good bcuz they have many problems.. Hows your brother going with it.?
His is currently running great (knock on wood), but it has spent numerous hours at the dealer for all kinds of problems. Sometimes it will just be a minor issue like a broken button or knob, but he hasn't really had any major problems with the car. However the smile it puts on your face when you start it up makes it all worth while. I'd recommend getting a low mileage one though. The good 08's are going for around $60,000 right now so it's a great time to buy. It isn't going to be your only vehicle right?
+Ryan Adams thanks for your answer. Only someone who has the car can tell all about it. No i have other cars.. I love this GT.. But was thinking n getting this because is a sedan.. You know.
+Miqayeel Bradley Low if you're going to buy ANY Maserati make sure its an 09 and up.. everything breaks.. trust me.. After the 90 refresh they're more reliable daily drivers
this is 2005 only 26,5K miles and i owned that car since 2009 and had no any issue Maintenance is like any exotic sport car but not too high. When i got it was 18K and clutch was replaced. I have BMW and AUDI - but Maserati ride is absolutely different world send me pm on witx77@gmail.com and i answer on any questions you can find that car on ebay but if u r really wants to get it - price will be lower there is huge difference between real one and what u watched.
It feels strange that I’m going to sell a 32 year old Renault 5 turbo that I brought for £2000 13 years ago and buy a Maserati qp and have Change left over 😉
It's a 4.2 duo select (f1) these might be the best sounding cars Maserati had built in modern times. The 4.7 Automatics are not any quicker and they don't sound as good. I bought this spec for a reason.
Ryan Adams Check my videos before commenting dummy and you'll see some of my cars... I have a 360 Spider, 430GT Michelotto Challenge conversion and a 348ts along with my Quattroporte. Damn your dumb... but more to the point the 4.2 howls just a Ferrari does and the 4.7 growls like American muscle. All the good videos like this one are 4.2's educate yourself!
I think what you should really buy with your lottery money is a better education. What are you? 12? My god. "if ill win" "an shiddy". Spelled Porsche wrong. In all honesty I don't think you could even pronounce this car's name.
That sound could never get old
Forever 😉♥️
I see one almost every night, he lives near and the sound IS amazing
Thought they were more expensive than used ones can be found for. Beautiful sound man

Maserati 🇮🇹❤️
100 percent of women exhibit's hormone increase when listening to the sound of this maserati
They actually did a study on it. This was the sound that got most wet. Had me shaking too 🤣
Ryan Adams..thanks buddy. Yeah I am aware that it's not gonna be a cheap car to maintain..I love cars so I guess there are the pros and cons. Nah this won't be my daily ride..
Belle voiture le sound extra j'adore
@LightningWindow Thats not smoke, it's just cold outside with a high compression motor. All cars have a mist from the tailpipes on cold days and its cool as hell to look at.
Yes bit still its different to hear one in person, rather than YT.
Lovely sound man!
Great MASERATI Quattroporte.

@TruJoker1 Yes but I think it's a bit hard to go in motion because many times by gas engine is cold and not good. wrong?
I have a ghibli (2014) but this sound is fucking awesome!!
S q4 or base?
+Phillip Berk base model 330hp
Alv y yo soñando con uno

thanks for the video ,its awesome
exhaust feel like ferrari =)
No shit they're both own by fiat
This motor was supposed to be on a Ferrari
Yes, since it's derived from Ferrari's F136 engine
Ferrari f430 engine...
BIG ZsOLt no, they are different
nice ferrari sound
After disco volante best sound ever
is it just me or do all the Quattroportes take a while to start?
Ik zou toch echt even blijven sparen en voor een 2007 Quattroporte gaan! Die ZF bak vind ik echt beter als die Camio Corsa (ofzo)
❤❤❤❤Love maserati
Nice for a stock exhaust

@77witx
you're the man!! is that the standard exhaust? sounds lovely and quite different than few quattroportes I have heard.. :)
What year is this car? How is the maintenance? I've read over a lot of forums claiming that the pre-2007 era are very costly. Once you have the true automatic there are a lot less problems.

Stock or straigt pipes ?
4.2 or 4.7 which sounds better? More throaty??

Mas rápido que el Bentley y si asusta su velocidad 🎉
What about warming the engine ?
wow after all these years i just realized this is no mufflers
Ay man, why you gotta bring that up? 😓 Thought it was stock in sport mode because stock it's one of the loudest OEM exhausts IMHO.
witch mods exactly? And how much does this car cost a year?
I am actually thinking of getting a 2005 quartoporte..any tips or advice?

So, did he buy it at the end?
Sounds like my old Honda Civic type R
this is 2005 only 26,5K miles and i owned that car since 2009 and had no any issue

The 4.7 sounds better in my opinion. I think you bought a 4.2 because you could afford it. Then again, you probably don't even have a Maserati .
