If it came with 4x4 option, swift would be on to a real winner!!.....
Looks like a great van for the money. Can you option a factory fitted towbar for a bike rack? And what's the delivery times currently. Thanks.
Hi, thank you for your interest in the Trekker range! Yes we can have a tow bar fitted to these models, and we'd currently be looking at a June / July delivery date 😃 If you'd like any further information on these, please feel free to drop us a message on our social media, or send an email to info@lowdhams.com and we can put you in touch with a member of our sales team who are always happy to help!
What insulation and winterisation does it have? How does the bathroom vent with no window or roof vent? How long will it let you go off grid for? Can you get it without poptop?
Thank you for your questions on the Trekker range! The insulation and winterisation has not yet been confirmed (however, please feel free to email us at info@lowdhams.com and we can send you some more information on this when it is announced). The bathroom has vents on the wall above the medicine cabinet, so moisture will still escape from the bathroom through these. With regards to off-grid usage, the Trekker should last around 2-3 days (although this will depend on how you use the campervan). Currently, both models of the Trekker do include the pop-top roof, however Swift are working on expanding the Trekker range by building a Trekker model that includes a U-shaped lounge at the rear, with 2 seatbelts and no pop top. I hope this helps! 😃
Is there a rear camera as standard? If not, is this an option either factory fit or retro?
Hi @roberthornshaw7857 a rear camera doesn't come as standard on the Trekkers, however this is something we can add in store. If you'd like some more information, please feel free to drop us an email www.lowdhams.com/contact-us and a member of our sales team can reach out! 😃
Does the pop top zip open completely or just with a fly screen?
Hi @JudeHowes we have a new Trekker arriving in our showroom very soon so we can find out for you 😃 If you could drop us an email (or a social media message) with your contact details, I'll arrange for one of our Campervan Sales Executives to get back to you about this! 😃
Hi @judehowes the Trekker is now back in store! The Pop-Top is panoramic, so does have the option to zip open completely (as well as having the flyscreen). If you'd like any further information, please feel free to get in touch! 😀
Have swift plans to produce this with a U shaped rear lounge...yes I know about the ascari but that unit is a little bland...
?? Nice video ..but this makes sense as a two birth layout as well as the younger persons layout depicted
Thank you for your comment, and for your feedback regarding a rear lounge version- we will make sure this information is fed back to the Swift design team.
Swift are working on expanding the Trekker range by building a Trekker model that includes a U-shaped lounge at the rear, with 2 seatbelts and no pop top.
Hi @@LowdhamLeisure would that model be the 5.5m version of the Transit? Also, do the Trekkers have a reversing camera? Thanks.
Hi @@andyelliot3428 thank you for your question- the Trekker campervans include reverse parking sensors, but not cameras unfortunately. For the new model, this would be a 6m van with the U-shaped rear lounge. I hope this helps! 😄
Yes @@LowdhamLeisure that's very helpful thank you. Rules out the Trekker unfortunately, I'm surprised Swift haven't included a reversing camera.
