    For those who are still confused about circle of the 5th/4th let me tell you simply how I'd use it. Technically as a beginner it's use as a tool reference. Not only it tells how many sharp or flat keys there in a note but also a tool for chord progression. For the tool for chord progression part each note has 6 note that can be suitable when played together. Look at C at the same time at your circle of fifth. Beside left and right of C is F and G, below C is Am and its left and right is dm and em. Therefore the right chord progression for C is C,Dm,Em,F,G,Am. Try play it on your guitar and play with other notes within the circle. Hope this helps.

    • @Unknowniswhatiam
      @Unknowniswhatiam 3 года назад +3

      Wow. This comment alone made it all click for me. So you're saying then, that the progression of G, for example, is G, Am, Bm, C, D, Em? Where does the F for G come into play then? As well as the B for C.

    • @GGG-wt1rm
      @GGG-wt1rm 3 года назад

      @@Unknowniswhatiam you need to play the chord according to the selected key progression to get a better understanding. Whichever key you choose, the concept remains the same where it is left and right, as well as below and its left and right

      A1Hayz they are not strict. they are close minded people. toxic and unhelpful people. i have seen parents like yours. unsupportive. they want their child to be rich and successful someday but aren't willing to support their child's dream. how can a child acquire a skill that will eventually make him/her productive to society if they dont allow the child to learn and master the skill he/she wanted? very illogical people. skills=success=$$$

    7:20 4:13 sharps.. As a beginner, the circle did confuse me and evidently so for others in the comment section. Just remember when Perfecto taught us about the formula- WWHWWWH. Go back to the sharp and flat we wrote before he began talking about the circle of 5ths. He fills/writes the notes of the circle really fast but they make sense if you take a second to think about it - e.g. to go counter-clock direction from C, you get to F as the fourth note, then F to Bflat since F-G is Whole, G-A is Whole, A-B is Whole but we need to make it a half since the formula starts with Whole,Whole,HALF. So A-B has to be written as A-Bflat, hence explains how he came about writing them.

      But wait i thought there was no B sharp, and F flat??🙃
