Join me on this Trip Report with Austrian Airlines (OS) B777-200 Business Class. This flight video also covers Bangkok airport, (Suvarnabhumi).
We're doing a tour at the Krisflyer Lounge Suvarnabhumi. The flight between Bangkok and Vienna was a great experience. The seat, food, IFE and crew were really good! Best Business Vlass flight i've had for a long time!
I started my experience at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. After check in I continued to the Krisflyer lounge.

The Austrian Business Class on board the B777-200 offers a great seat. During the flight I had great food and Champagne.
Austrian offered great food and drinks.

Yes the 767 and 777 getting old, very old ! Soon to get replaced by the 787-9 😀🙈… there are some 3rd hand 772/ER in the fleet 🙄🙈 great review of my home airline… greetings from Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹

The food did not look extremely special BUT it did look very good, tasty and fresh!
Good to see that Austrian Airlines is confident to serve Austrian wines and beer ( even Märzen !)
Just flew them several times long ago as feeder airline from BRU to VIE for EVA Air.
I also appreciate when an airline menu shows their heritage. Appreciated both their food and drinks offering.

Its a shame, they offer Gösser. Not the best brewing company here in Austria. AA could do better. But the wine selection was pretty good (from what i saw on the menu)...
I really like the resolution of your video. Everything appeared clear, menus were easy to read - even when shown on a large screen. These are not my favorite Business Class seats. There's less privacy than competitors that guarantee single widow seats throughout the cabin.
Thanks for watching! There certainly are better options regarding how the seats are layered out. But within the LH group I definitely prefer Austrian in front of the Lufthansa business cabin. 🙏🏻
do you have access to the Singapore Silver Kriss lounge with your Austria Airlines business ticket?
I shower my Star Alliance Gold. The answer: not needed when flying business. So the answer is yes, should work.
@@travelexperiencetv9916 thank you. I plan on travelling the same route as the one you took, but I am not a gold member, so I wonder if I can get into Silver Kris with the purchase of my business class ticket.
Should be fine. And if it doesn’t there are plenty of other Star Alliance options. Thai Airways lounge at gate D4 is also a good option.

I went to the SQ lounge to use my Star Alliance Gold. But according to the staff any Star Alliance ticket was enough to visit.

Ich Liebe Austrian. But the planes are soooo outdated. The food is soooo good tho and the flying chefs the best i hope they bring then back.

I’ve never flown Austrian but if the food is anywhere as good as the food in the Do&Co hotel (Do&Co who do Austrian airlines catering also own a hotel in Vienna) then I’d happily give it a go should the opportunity arise
I agree. I have also tried out the Do&Co food at their hotel. Amazing! And much of the Austrian food is really great.
