- "The wildest Z at Z-CON", coming from the Zaddy himself, Larry Chen, that means a lot. This wild machine took 12 years to build so you know it was absolutely perfect. This rat Z turned race car is a 1971 240Z powered by a Twin Turbo VQ35HR making over 600hp on pump gas and it only weighs 2400 lbs thanks to all of the carbon fiber parts inside and out but there's more, it also has Holinger 6-speed Sequential! This car is indeed WILD.

there is this and a supra done by twins turbo on build bio is by far the most impressive to me. this is one and the supra is 2 just cus this guy did everything himself.

This build is insane! The owner seems like such a cool guy and loves talking about the build him and his friend made, now that’s passion! That’s how I want to be when I get his age
I forget the episode but go back some and there's another video showcasing this guy's collection and it's like a Datsun/Nissan Museum.

I had a 71 Datsun 240Z with a 3.1 liter engine with 9:6:1 compression pistons with a turbo off an old corvair that put out 20 lbs of boost that was good for 525 HP. Good times.

I still remember his silver z in 2008 with white stripes on the dock. It was a big influence and motivation for me to build my z when I was younger. Nothing but respect, love and admiration.

Blown away by the clean Integration of the Digital gauges and the individual gauges in the stock pods.
Not to mention the whole car and build quality. And most importantly, the whole concept and idea of the build topped off with great execution

I remember seeing a picture of the silver & grey version of this car about 13 years ago now. I had to know what it was and thats what got me into Datsun zed cars. I will own one some day.

All I can say is HOLY SHIT!!! I went to my First Z Car Convention in 1992 in Knoxville TN and 2nd in St Louis in 1993 and I saw some sweet rides but THIS...GOOD GAWD!!

The calipers on the Wilwoods flex. Thats where the squishiness comes from.

The flares blended into the guards, for that wide body look, is F’ing stunning!
Little tiny touches like shaving the drip rails and the carbon side skirts into fender flares make this an Epic build. I like how the windshield was done, good to hear the tub, roof are metal and both the windshield and quarter windows are original Z glass. There’s a 240Z under all that carbon fiber !!!
Blessed that i get to see this car and the silver 71 here and there, the interiors are insane, both cars are nuts
This is one of the craziest 240Zs/S30 but I most definitely want to build my 260 to be this amazing.
