Step-by-Step Guide: Gel Nail Extension Tutorial
Step 1: Prep Your Nails
First, step is to prep your nail by pushing back cuticles gently.
File and shape your natural nails to your desired length and shape.
Lightly buff the surface of your nails to create a smooth canvas for the gel.
Step 2: Apply Nail Tips
Choose a nail tip that fits the shape of your natural nail.
Stick the tip on your nail's free edge to create the extension's structure.
Step 3: Apply Base Gel
Apply a thin layer of clear or builder gel as the base coat to your natural nails and the extension.
Cure the gel under a UV or LED lamp according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 4: Build the Extension
Using a clear builder gel, apply a small bead at the tip of the nail.

Cure the gel under the lamp.
