Hope You get everything working again! That was a unreal cold snap!🥶🥶 It’s no wonder things froze up! And today it’s -2 c! Unreal up and down! I am always amazed at how quiet Your barns are, even when they were almost all waiting for feed they just stood and patiently waited. That has a lot to do with how you care for them Piet, they know there feed is on its way! Job well done Peat! You really look after your cows!!

Things always seem to break down in adverse weather conditions . You'll get through it son enough. 😅

We have a 724 we can put on the mixer as well, but it's nice to have the extra weight of the 942 when it's icy around the yard!

Where you have those pumps in the pits could'nt you have a curtain or tarp rolled on a pipe or pvc that you could roll over the pits when it gets extremely cold and put a heater on thermostat in the pit to keep it from freezing

Hi Piet. It looks scary freezing cold there. Those doors look pretty frozen !! In Montreal, last weekend was in excess of (-13c) for 4 days in a row. We are sitting at (-8c) right now. Hope the MOO COWS are keeping well. How are those curtains doing in keeping out major cold from the barn?

They do a good job keeping the barn warm. Even at its coldest, the manure in the milking cow barns didn't freeze.
