O and its a V10 i won't know till later today if its a 6.8 or 7.3 but its a florida ford so idk interor seat driver side is pretty wrecked like cracked an tore but yea j/w if you have any advice at all ?
It worked great, thank you. Not being critical but a bit to much talking at the beginning. It made my brother leave and hit another one. Also you can put a 22 inch on the front. The rear hatch shocks, get the 2 wheel drive ones they are longer and fit the same. There are a lot of Excursion forums that have tons of info. They call us a cult lol.
What can I do when the ignition cylinder with keys have been replaced due to attempted theft; how to program the new set of Keys? I have replaced the batteries new on 2000 Ford Excursion Disel, thank you!!!
@@mariemedinavd new fobs are fairly cheap. Here is a link to one www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XS2K18C/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=wherervsta059-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B06XS2K18C&linkId=011c363d247a1219bffd2b9edf76392c
Im looking at one for 1,500 with pretty bad body damage but 188,000 miles given it runs an i do all obvious checks how well would you say i make out ? the kid who has it now "who I'm buying from" his dads id a mechanic but the owner "the kid" doesnt live with them if that matter's. so j/w what you think btw nice video.
Ours is a V10 6.8 with 182k miles and runs like new. If the one your looking at is drivable then yeah $1,500 don't sound bad. There are a lot of used body parts on ebay to fix the body up. Good luck and I hope it works out for you!
We've done exactly the same thing, bought a twenty year old excursion as a tow vehicle for our travel trailer. I'm struggling with getting ours to start. It ran great for two days and then just died. It's blinking it's engine immobilizer light on the dash at me so I'm thinking I've tripped that somehow. Where'd you get your new key fobs and what are you thinking about for a double din radio? I'm looking forward to your vids.
The links for the fobs are in the description below the video. The double din we picked up was a Soundstream with GPS and Sirius XM. You can sometimes find them on ebay used out of a new class C like we did for $75
Look at that snow. 20 year old. Are you handy? Cassettes are in again. Like records. We went to our first RV show at the Tampa RV show. We didn’t look at many RVs. Our favorite was meeting all the other RV and van life RUclipsrs. Problem with key fobs is now thieves are waiting in parking lots for someone to use their key fob and copying them. Thanks for sharing. Alice
Not to handy but I have friends that are lol. When we go to the shows we love talking to campground owners and other rvers. This year we were actually looking for one. Most shows we just go to see whats new!
Skip to 5:11 for the steps.

As long as you have power locks on the truck this method should work.
I do not have a key fob, they are new keys, what can do?

Thank you, how do I program the fob?
@@mariemedinavd I show how to program the fobs in this video
Please send link on how to program new keys when the ignition cylinder has been replaced, thank you!!
The new keys would have to be programed at a dealer or a locksmith
My 2000 Ford F 350 only took 5 on-off cycles to enter programming mode.
Do you have a link to what key fob you bought? since there are only 100,000 different ones out there
