Thanks ladies I’m glad to hear what Brian had to say about how Lucas will pull through these tough times .He’s been through a lot ,hope some happiness will come his way this season.
Great interview! Episode 1 was great. It set up the storylines for the rest of the season. I can't wait to see Nathan and Elizabeth's relationship moving forward. Also with each other's kids. I can't wait to see what Capital City looks like. Also meet this new character. I hope Lucas listens to Lee. I think Edwin is trouble. I have a feeling by the end of the season we will see that S12 was all about heroes. First the past with Jack Sr. Then Nathan's storyline. Well he's already a hero in my book not just because he is a mountie (that's why Jack Jr called him a hero) But because he as a single man became guardian of his niece when she was only 4 years old. Then he adopted her and Nathan is a great father to Allie. Also, think Lucas will get a heroes journey will something he does for the territory he governs. That's my prediction for S12.
It’s nice to hear that Brian understands that Lucas didn’t want to be Governor at all. He did it (and risked his life) for Elizabeth and the town because they needed him to do it.
Hmmm, we are not entirely sure what you mean. Brian referenced season 5 at one point and things beyond our control which was essentially when Dan Lissing elected to leave the show.
Brian mentioned that the final episodes of the current season is still in post-production, and I would guess that writers, who also serve as producers, are involved in that.
Great conversation with Brian! I truly loved the first episode, and I'm very enthusiastic about how the rest of the season will play out.
Wonderful interview with Brian-thank you all! Such a heartwarming episode, as always.
“Future worry steals present joy” BB, is very profound because it is the truth!

PS-Loved episode 1 of Season 12- every episode is always heartwarming.
I hope we get many more seasons papa Heartie not ready to leave Hope valley just yet
Thanks ladies

37:40 It seems like, for episode 1, every one of the main and supporting cast got at least some screen time! 🙂

What did he mean when he talked about sometimes being given things you didn't want and having to roll with it? Covid? Certain story choices?

Was this the first time that WCTH began airing while later episodes were still in Post?
No, also happened in Season 1!
Will Montague come back this season?
Why are the writers not available?
