I have heard it said - if you marry the leads, the show will die. That may be true in a lot of cases, but my opinion is WCTH is different. It is a family-oriented, faith based show. It is the type of show that lends itself towards love and marriage, followed by the baby carriage - or at least it should. Proverbs 18:22 (KJV AV) states, "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord." For a faith-based show, marriage should matter. Marriage is a journey of togetherness. The traditional vows are "until death do us part". When people get married, they start their life's journey together, not solely as individuals. That does not mean one character can't have a storyline without the other one. There can and should still be individual teacher storylines and individual Mountie action to create drama. Also, this is the 1920's - without marriage, there will never be cohabitation, a truly blended family, marital intimacy, more children etc etc. - not in this era. What you will wind up with is two people who want so much more out of their relationship, but will be prohibited from having it. You will also wind up with two children raised in single parent families all because their parents were not allowed to marry. In truth, I would rather have this EPIC Nathan & Elizabeth storyline well-told for a few more years and have the show end organically, than to prolong the show (like it seems to be suggested) and have none of the endless "married and/or blended family storylines" come to fruition. Please don't deny Nathan & Elizabeth their long awaited marriage and family. They have loved each other since Season 8 and were kept apart then for reasons unknown to the viewing audience. Now that you have brought them back together, their relationship has the strongest possible foundation. They have been through some of life's hardest challenges and faced them together. You gave us the story we long to see in Season 11 and the ratings reflected our joy. Please continue to provide the stories we long to watch. This type of genre is very rare on television. If viewers drop off because of relationship/dating fatigue, we will be watching the show die an unnatural demise. I kept hoping to see the Emerson plaque come back in S11. Perhaps the writers may still find a way for it to in S12. It has been Elizabeth's arc since Nathan gifted it to her. I'd love it to have a prominent place in their future home. Nathan and Elizabeth know each other very well, Allie is nearing graduation, and I want to see them marry sooner than later. There is so much love that can be expressed within their marriage. Dating, and especially in this time-period, is not a necessity. There is possibly a little more they can work through with their hearts about Jack, Sr., but after that, there should be nothing else standing in their way to being a blended family and creating a home where Allie and Jack have both a mother and a father.

I love all the kids scenes! They add SO much to the show. I’m rewatching from season 1 and Jada cracks me up with her personality in earlier seasons. Such a gifted young lady.

Do we know yet when S11 will be released on dvd? Or your best guess. Thanks 😊

My wish list. 1. Lucas finds a true love and can finally live the life that he came to Hope Valley for as well as to truly be free from his past. He’s tried so hard and is obviously a different person, so to see that development of his character to continue would be fabulous! 2. Have another close confidant for Elizabeth other than just Rosemary. (In the past she had Clara, Abigail, etc.) it’s nice to see relationship development between friends on the show. 3. See Nathan do more mounty work like in his earlier seasons and maybe have another mounty join him in Hope Valley. Nathan can be like the boss and have others under him. Hope Valley is growing after all and may need more Mounties. 4. Elizabeth to continue to pursue writing. 5. Nathan and Lucas to about Elizabeth to really give closure to that between them, kind of like they did in season 9 in the saloon.

Twins for Nathan and Elizabeth would be great. That should put a big smile on Nathan's face, and if they had a boy and a girl, then neither, Allie nor Jack could complain that the boy/girl ratio was out of whack. It will be interesting to see what they do about a place to live that will hold them all with room to grow.

Erin's interviews radiate so much warmth and authenticity. And she is so generous with her compliments for the cast. She truly is a beautiful person inside and out. And Hearties admins, you rock for bringing these interviews to us!

I can’t believe how much I came to absolutely adore Elizabeth’s new haircut!!! By the end of the season it felt like it had always been her!!! Gorgeous!!

Erin us such a sweetheart! I’m wondering if Hargraves is responsible for Jack’s death and is now trying to ruin his character and strip him of any medals/awards he received. Thus removing himself from suspicion. Nathan, Bill, Rosemary and Elizabeth work together to put Hargraves away once and for all. All this results in a promotion for Nathan and removal of any residual guilt Nathan may be feeling about Jack’s death.

Best season in a long time or maybe ever! Great job writers, producers and actors!!

Erin is always so pleasant in her interviews. Love all the call backs. When Nathan and Elizabeth get married, I would love to see a winter wonderland wedding in the woods surrounded by snowy trees. I'm sure that would be freezing for you all and not practical, but it would be a call back to helping Nathan and Allie find a tree and little Jack would love this too or you could just repeat this scene but as a family. Loved everything about S11. It was so good. I would love to see Nathan propose when they hang ornaments on the tree. This time pulling something special out of the box of ornaments. I would love to see Lucas live in the fine house he wants with his new love and continue to do special things for the town like the paper lanterns. I would love to see frosting on E's nose when they eat cake.

Interesting chat, and I had forgotten about the writer's strike that was happening during S11 production that sidelined the US writers including the showrunner. It makes the finished product seem even more remarkable! I must commend Erin for her work in both S10 & S11 as her character was really challenged and we witnessed numerous scenes that were filled with emotional drama that ranged from heartbreaking to joyous. I can't wait for S12!

2:45 Total of 6 weddings, counting Mike & Mei. The Mary Dunbar/DeWitt Graves wedding was actually Season 2, not 1. It was when we first met Pastor Frank. There was that con man who showed up selling bibles with his daughter, and Flo thought he was Pastor Frank, so he went with it. He was the one performing the ceremony until the real Frank showed up in the middle of it. 😊

Loved Season 11, especially the growing love and depth of Elizaberh and Nathan's relationship. Really hope the cliffhanger is brief in Season 12 and doesn't raise another obstacle. Waited too long for Nathan and Elizabeth to be together.

I Just love all of WCTH and all you have done to display and make Elizabeth ALIVE from Janette Okes book ! I have the loved the show from beginning and have watched it live since the Pilot of S1 E 1 !

My top wishes... 1. Nathan goes to the cemetery and talks with Jack and accepts what happened is not his fault and humbling says he would like to marry Elizabeth and be a father to L. Jack. 2. Nathan takes Elizabeth riding to a romantic spot and proposes and she says yes. 3. A wedding outdoors with the children as wedding party and Goldie as flower girl. 4. Nathan rebuilds Jack's cabin and Elizabeth is excited about it. Jack and Allie running inside to pick out their rooms! And Nathan carrying Elizabeth over the threshold!! 5. A love for Lucas in Capital City. Someone kind, beautiful and smart. First date: going to a fair in C.C., sharing cotton candy and riding the ferris wheel. Holding hands. (I checked, they were invented in the 1890's.) 6. Elizabeth and Rosemary being expected mothers together (but I understand that would be difficult, but a girl can dream right!!) 7. A nursing degree for Molly! I think she would be perfect at it and would be an exciting chapter for her. 8. Instead of a National Park. A hospital instead. It would create jobs, a big help to the town for emergencies and would leave a window for Carson to come back as a surgeon!!

Nathan and Elizabeth just elope in S12! I don't need a wedding, but if you all do a wedding let it be a small wedding for Nathan and Elizabeth with Allie, Jack Jr, and just a few close friends.

S11 was the best season ever written in When Calls the Heart history. The acting was amazing! Thank You to the cast and crew for S11. I can't wait for S12! ❤ Nathan and Elizabeth are a couple!!! I love it! 😊

I sure hope we don't have to wait too long for Nathan and Elizabeth to get married! The 'slow burn' does not need to continue. In their case there are so many stories about married life and blending 2 families that could be told, so why wait?

I'd LOVE to see Allie and Rosemary have a good storyline. I think it'd be hilarious and also sweet

N/E wedding early/mid season so we get lots of blended family stuff. To see N/E conquer everything together. I'd love to see Tom Thornton move to town! Rosemary and Bill partner up more even though I don't want them to have a reason to 😅 More spoken I love yous between N/E. Actions are louder than words but the words are powerful ❤️

the plaque chrsitmas tree choosing and decorating activities with the kids or the schoolkids Viola comes back to meet Nathan scenes like the scout picture and potato where theres push and pull marriage then family life like lee and rosemary chats between lj and nathan about mountie life chats between allie and lj about losing a parent but finding someone who loves you like your own or loving the one you have nathan and elizabeth helping someone/some people through a crisis, using the wisdom and love they have learnt from each other and life romantic interest for faith more mountie action with suspense and crime have nathan find the card that LJ gave him and also find the star he pulled out of E's hair
