Tastefully done and thoroughly described. Good down-to-earth descriptions of how choppers ride and sort of stop.

You guys did an Excellent job with these bikes. The details of both these bikes is really on Point. Ether one of these bikes could be in the movie no problem. I've seen many that have attempted these builds and don't ever come close.

Fonda's original had a 5.00 x 16 Beck rear tire. A "wildcat" tail light was on Fonda's bike. The original gas tanks were re-worked Mustang scooter tanks. Jim Leonard built the most accurate replicas. Still, this is great work by the Sundels!

Love the bikes and the music but I'd rather hear the bikes than the guitar. Maybe that's just me.
I'm 72 and been riding since I was 14 when I got a ride on a guys 47 Indian with a hardtail and a springer. Sweet ride.
The last bike I built had a Finch custom frame and 15 over springer front end which was painted candy apple red and had a fiberglass Sportster tank. My back would not take riding a hard ass bike any more. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect example of spot-on reproduction. The only thing I could notice out of place is that your mirror mount has a longer vertical arm which makes it mount towards the center of the handle bar down turn. A good example is here: ruclips.net/video/7eGVTmrPKOY/видео.html
Not knit-picking, just kind of noticed the difference since it's one of the things people see most in the movie (the handle bars)

They look good. I wish the "Billy" guy had done a better job of description......as he seemed to stutter through it. No offense...............and I don't think the rear lights on the Billy are accurate.................there was 2 on one side (I believe the left) and 1 on the right!!!
He seemed to discredit the "rigid", but I'm 65 years ols and still ride (everywhere) a kick only rigid. To each his own, but I'm not going to build something I wouldn't ride. Again no offense, great jobs!!!

BEAUTIFUL! even the oilbox & hard lines leak city but you definitely kept as close to O, the 2 others i've seen up close had oil filters, front breaks or course & 1 had rear disc the other had drum & a front rake set up to help steering handling. Kind like a porsche turbo 911, ferrari T, & this I would love to ride um just once, like that model I saw when I was in Ukraine, that was a bit easier just hand the money over.

Back in the late 70's I sold a bobber and bought a chopper that was the same style as Capt. America and the paint job as a Billy Bike. I used to ride those hard tails all around the country and I don't remember the pain. Now I am 66 years old and even with suspension the thing kills me. Ick old age. My wife rode across WA. state with me and she was crying from the position of her rear on the 2nd up part of the seat. I wish I could build a classic and ride it all day again.

Jim Leonard built the best ER replica machines. I met Jim at a vintage car (Packard) meet a long time ago. He told me that locating all of the correct parts was the most difficult part of the job. Incidentally, the rear tires on the original bikes were 5.00 X 16 Beck-Arnley (British).
