Hey guys! Just to quickly apologise for my dodgy lighting in this video - after a number of technical problems, I decided to go ahead and upload tonight instead of re-recording because I don't know when I'd get the time to re-record ❤
My favorite Sugababes remixes: 1) Too Lost In You (Kardinal Beats LA Remix): Nice R&B vibes - LOVE it - my favorite remix! 2) Shape (Double R Remix) - a lovely R&B remix - and interesting, that they seem to have recorded parts for this remix particularly (especially from 1:45 into the song) - a GREAT addition to it! 3) Run For Cover (MNEK Remix) - I would not mind them working together with MNEK again - He surely was a great part of “The Lost Tapes” too. 4) Denial (Mike Rose Remix) - Perhaps a little bit to close to the original song, but I do especially like, what they did with Keisha’s part making it “echoing”. 5) In The Middle (Ruff & Jam Radio Mix) - think this is gonna be my #5 remix - really like the “grungy vibe”. Worth mentioning (no particular order): - About A Girl (K-Gee Remix Radio Edit): Not really a particular fan of the Sweet 7 album, but this remix actually has parts, that are better than the original: The “marching/soldier” vibe. - Easy (Brio alternative Version): I am a little bit fascinated, how this remix differs from the original and still works so well with this laid-back feeling. - Soul Sound (Damien Mendez Radio Remix): REALLY love the All Saint vibe - have always hoped Sugababes would make an album with an “All Saint sound” - would fit them so well - especially with Siobhan’s return. 🪐 Overload (SMD REMIX): So different - giving haunted mansion/detective vibes (for a movie scene). 🧐🔍😂 - Same Old Story (Blood Orange Remix): A more up to date version - the original is very 90ties/early 00s…. And what BEAUTIFUL piano parts added! 😍 Real Thing (2-Step Radio Mix - Remastered): Again, a more up to date version. Like it ☺ Ps: Thank you VERY much for the sweet and kind response to my initial comment to this vid. Your responses always put a big smile on my face and literally warms my heart 🥰- I am kind of sensing, that you are a very generous person and uplifting to your surroundings - and what a treat to be able to share thoughts about Sugababes with other fans/an ongoing community - I enjoy your videos very much: Keep them coming ! I love that Soul Sound remix too, and that's so weird you said that about All Saints - I've said it too 😉 great minds really do think alike 🤣 That also cracked me up about the Haunted Overload detective show you're cooking up 😂 but I totally get what you mean and love your description 😍 Awwwww the last part of your comment is soooo touching CFSK 🥹 - with you guys, it's so easy and natural (when bloody RUclips let me know you've commented 😂) and it's you guys that have made this community what it is. Sorry for my delayed reply, I wasn't notified about your comment for some reason 🤔 They're great remixes, I like how the Stronger one gives it a completely different vibe without losing the essence of the original and it would be so great to see them perform a couple of remix versions to keep things fresh in terms of the live performances. Hey Evan 👋 That's such an excellent point - I haven't even looked into where those remixes have gone, do you have any idea why we can't get hold of them on Spotify/Apple etc? It's annoying isn't it, I'd love to listen to those again 😔 I know I've heard the Flatline remixes... or at least one of them, but I can't hear it my head now, for the life of me 🤣 And technically... this means we didn't get justice for Flatline after all 😂 We have to right this wrong 💪 Thanks for watching and for the great comment ❤️

Some really good remixes there. That Timbaland mix works great. I’ve always thought that Stronger could be mixed in some areas with Unfinished Symphony by Massive Attack. But I think a lot would agree to that given similar style of backing tracks.

To me a remix should add something new, but still keep the essence of the original song intact. I am really not into those remixes, that go on forever - and those that have bits (often going on forever and ever again), that essentially have nothing to do with the original track and kind of sounding like the person, that made the remix is on acid 💫🙃😉 I have made a playlist of, what I personally think are the best remixes: Perhaps your viewers are interested in checking it out, if they are not so familiar with Sugababes remixes 🥰: ruclips.net/p/PLFlbBDnIzi_VnzxeSovzzdJnYnuGLz9eO I will return tomorrow and make my top 5 - I am off to bed 🛏 🤗
