In 2016 after my husband finished one martini we got directly from a bar tender and he began to pass out. We struggled to walk back to our car. When we got home he passed out and woke up the next morning and didn't remember anything. So it appears some Abbey bartenders may be putting drugs in customers drinks which could easily trigger an adverse reaction with other medications someone may be taking that could be fatal. At which point the owners of the Abbey could get sued for millions of $ because they are fully aware of a dangerous situation exists on their property that they willfully ignored and did nothing to mitigate until someone dies. On another occasion I was walking past the Abbey one night and saw a young man out front passed out on the sidewalk who appeared to be going into a convulsion. When I asked the doorman/bouncer at the Abbey if anyone had called 911 he coldly responded he's not on our property, so it's not our problem. Fortunately the paramedics arrived and began rendering aide. So it appears the owners of the Abbey may not give a damn about their customers as long as the $ keeps rolling in.
Something similar happened in NYC but it was other customers, not the bartenders. The victims woke up with their bank accounts empty of all their money. Some of the victims died of being overdosed.
If you go in there, you may not come out. Yes many have been drugged, by the bartenders. Just one drink has put people out many times and getting carried out. Serious shit.
