A lively evening indeed! Looks like it was a great night for everyone. After watching all of your LA videos, you are really makingp me want to visit there again. Thank you AK and cheers from your lovely hometown of NYC.
Well, ! one thing is for certain. night life and youth, have not changed in 60 yes! I said 60 plus years. I've hit the highlight in Germany, Paris, Rome, NYC, DC, in my youth and this looked like it did back then. People socializing and having a good time. some things just do not go out of style. Thanks AK for jogging this old man's memory's and for sharing.
I have seen the LA scene in the 90s and I'm happy that these days are gone. Way too much drugs and deaths. The parties were wild but we lost allot of people along the way. I was in Russia couple of years ago in Moscow and the nightlife gave me flashbacks of the way we partied in LA them russians still go hard. To be honest I can only imagine how the 70s and 80s were
Love West Hollywood. I spent some time there a couple years ago. Probably one of the coolest areas, right in the middle of all the fun, and the people are pretty chill.
Looking to move from London to Los Angeles in the next few years after I’m done with university and all I can say is tysm for all these videos! They really make us feel as if we’re there :) Keep them coming
GREAT VIDEO! I USED TO HANG OUT DOWN THERE IN THE 1990'S. SO MUCH HAS CHANGED. RAGE & MOTHER LOAD CLOSED. LOT'S OF NEW BARS & RESTAURANTS. THANK YOU SO MUCH. WONDERFUL PRODUCTION!!!
Thx for braving the storm of the unmasked in a panvariant pandemic!! Im deep in the woods of N-CNTRL PA which makes this vid a technicolor off-plant dreamscape!!! LV IT!!
West side! Go west my son. For other non touristy but lively walkable areas try Culver Blvd between Venice Blvd and Duquesne Ave (also Culver City Park a walk down Duquesne is a nice neighborhood park with a dog park attached). Also recommend the Japantown area on the westside on Sawtelle Blvd between Olympic and Iowa Ave - lots of Asian restaurants and shops where there is usually a young local crowd on weekends and weeknights.
Thank you. This was honestly really informative and gave us a great sense of the culture there. Realized this area wasn’t the right vibe for me and saved me a lot of time and money. Great video!!
Thanks dude, just viewed your trip to the hollywood sign, what a workout, i bet you slept well that night, i agree the lack of cleaning on LA subway was obvious plus the rolling stock looks quite dated, started watching night walk thru west hollywood very busy so i tried playback at 50% really trippy and time to clock the people, be safe
nice relaxed stroll! i couldn't really tell from folks clothes whether it was warm or cool. some folks all rugged up and others in short sleeves/tanks and shorts. also noticed that almost nobody responds to the presence of a filming camera anymore, be it to shield their face or alternately to wave and/or say "Hi!". i'm guessing this was the earlier part of evening when folks are still dining, and before there's too much drunkenness or other chemically affected people. all in all it felt like a fun, safe night to go out, get a drink, have a meal and dance the night away. thanks for sharing!
I mentioned you should check out West Hollywood on your first L.A live-streams! WH has excellent security, I’ve heard, and always very lively! good job 👍🏼 AK!

Robertson is such a pretty street. It’s sad to see it fenced up like that. We can’t drive down it anymore? That will be a major headache when everything is back to full swing. It’s bumper to bumper in WeHo at night on the weekends.
Thank you very much, this video is cool. That helps me when I go to LA. Do you know Harlowes.... if so, can you recommend this bar? Greetings from Switzerland
Kenneth, I just moved back East after 20 years on LA. Thanks for the memories. I'm also an ex New Yorker who loves your NYC vids. How do you film, though? On a phone? With a microphone? Anyway, keep up the good work, my friend.
Kenneth ,I been to Mickey's Dance club and The Abbey to scoop out the Celebrities back in 2096. I suggest you should check out Melrose Ave. There is alot of Shops and Boutique Shops. Also Wilshire Blvd. For The Peterson Car. Museum. Are you coming to La Jolla, California which is the Beverly Hills of San Diego.

Yes, The barber truck is celebrity stylist Jason Schneidman's portable salon (clients include Hugh Jackman, Bruno Mars, Jonah Hill, Rob Lowe and "fat ass" James Corden) . He also uses this truck to cruise around and give haircuts to the homeless and underprivileged once a month. And if you're a straight guy, West Hollywood is one of the BEST places for a simple, no hassle, no bullshit night out.
Thanks for taking us to WeHo. It was fun to get a glimpse of what the gay nightlife in LA is like. I was curious what those trees with the large yellow flowers were, so I did a search and found that they are Gold Medallion trees, Very beautiful.

Great
The famous rock clubs are primarily on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood.
@ There are some young rock bands such as "The Warning" that play in the West Hollywood clubs.
This stretch of sidewalk literally reminds me of a university town, .. with lots of souls searching for life's meaning .. great video.

Seems like West Hollywood bars/restaraunts all use the same music playlist! thump-thump-thump. Ain't no blues nor rock there. Nice job, AK
@ForbinColossus we now live in an untalented and lazy uncreative environment. where cookie cutter music rules the airwaves. it's sad, really.
That’s what I was saying..they need more diversity in music..funk, chill house, reggae, classic rock etc..just playing techno is boring.
It's all Gay bar. It's what they like.
It didn't used to be like that there, they used to play more house and techno, now it's all crunky R&b crap.
