OMG. I have never heard of this movie in my life. But I recognized those cheerleading and football uniforms and some of the sets. And after a moment of surreal panic and googling it turns out this was filmed AT MY HIGHSCHOOL! And it look like they used our actual uniforms, not props. They also used the school’s real name and mascot. I am so weirded out right now.

It feels like my cool aunt is telling me about movies and stuff. She's really cool, and she's my safe space as well.

It’s not like they had a good idea and it was poorly executed. Someone wrote it, pitched it, someone gave it the green light, all those people read the script and said “cast me, please!” Unreal.

Thats why I think it was made using the proceeds of illegal activities simply to launder the money. It clearly wasn’t made with the thought they’d actually make any money from it.

As a Spider-Man fan I can confirm that most of us have always wondered what would it be like if Peter Parker was bit by a Radioactive Sandwich! I watched the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man and was disappointed when he didn’t shoot a single Sandwich. Then when Marvel made a new Spider-Man i broke down crying because this was the 3rd Spider-Man I had watched & it didn’t meet my Radioactive Sandwich needs.

My absolute favorite thing about Jamie is that she announces commercial breaks which is what I always thought I’d do if I made videos, it’s something I’ve never seen any other creator do.

So I’m 98% sure this movie was filmed at my high school. It’s called timpview high school in Provo Utah. How strange I never heard anything was filmed there. 😂 I’m 27 (btw). But I noticed the banners in the back in the commons hall. And the entrance to the school with the diagonal sidewalk and flowers.

It was. Back in ‘83 there was a planned food fight in the Timpview cafeteria. It was tipped off with a flying roll, then plates of spaghetti were hurled across the room. Legend has it that someone slipped and broke their arm. I never went to lunch that day, a lot of us stayed in the commons and heard the chaos ensue. Those responsible hosted a dance on the tennis courts to pay the school back. My kids were going to timpview when they filmed this lovely film and were in the auditorium as extras.
It may have been filmed when you were going there.
The actor who played Garrett was also in the MTV movie 2ge+her. Anybody 'member that? Would love to hear Jaime's commentary on that!

Dang! This kinda reminds me of a movie that I was into when I was twelve called "Alice Upsidedown". It wasn't nearly as gross but it definitely did have some cringy moments for sure. It also had the acting talents of Alison Stoner, Penny Marshall, and of course... Lucas Grabeel! 😁 Anyway, it might be something worth looking into when you have the time. Also, thanks for another totally HILARIOUS movie review! Definitely put a smile on my face 😄💜
Fun fact: this was based on a series of books about a girl named Alice and her awkward adolescence. They were some of my faves as a kid.
