jlo didn't listen to big studios telling her that this project wouldn't do well. she didn't listen to her own husband who, mind you, is a two time academy award winning screenwriter and director. she didn't listen to THE jane fonda. like, the only voice she likes to hear is her own.
I am so puzzled by this whole thing. She is a decent actress, especially with the right director ( _Hustlers_ ' Lorene Scafaria, _Out of Sight_ 's Steven Soderbergh, _Shall We Dance_ 's Peter Chelsom), she has a husband that has won two Oscars (one for writing Good Will Hunting, and one for directing Argo). If she really wanted to spend 30 million of her own money to make a movie, why not enlist her husband to write and/or direct a film about some cool fictional or adapted story instead of wasting that money and effort on a glorified commercial for an album that we all know would flop anyway? I like JLo, but she is an actress first and foremost, and her music career has always been an afterthought.

That’s BS… he was planning his wedding. He said during the shoot she even helped him. She could tell her assistant was giving her wrong info that’s why she said call him back. His wedding was December based on the release date of her films (post production edits etc) he wouldn’t have been getting married at the time she needed him.

I had a friend that worked at a high end spa/hotel. One time a bunch of PR people approached the staff and told them when JLo arrives to not look her in the eye or they would be fired. Sure enough two people lost their jobs. Ever since then i have Zero respect for JLo, she could fade into obscurity and disappear for ever for all i care.
I know this is going to sound terrible, but imagine having the arrogance of assuming the entire will know WHO they aren’t to look at. I first heard of JLo because Graham Norton let slip that he had a worst star being the scenes, and rumors are that it is her. I have seen her picture a few times since then, but not enough that I would actually know who she was if I ever saw her in real life. I hope she at least had some way she was indicating to everyone who she was (such as a name tag or a security escort or something like that), because I would be PISSED that I had to spend a whole day not making eye contact with ANYONE because I don’t know who she is and making eye contact with the wrong stranger could get me fired. And the sad thing is that means I will be avoiding eye contact with all of the other people on the hotel who are normal people who might be offended that I DIDN’T make eye contact with them, which might also get me fired, all because some diva didn’t even consider the fact that some people don’t know her well enough to identify her immediately by sight and can’t follow an instruction to avoid eye contact with just her.
Imagine spending $30 mil on something that probably should have just been a weekly therapy session.

Here's my thing...If she really wanted to "tell her story" write a tell all book that's hilarious, honest, and raw, and maybe not do a 30 million dollar vanity project?

No, prime bought it for $30 million - so she made $10 million from it. Prime lost big time. She gets paid for her album up front, it flopped, so it's about whether she gets dropped from her label or not. My guess is they keep her on and she gets to finish her contract. She just didn't make anymore money from it's release. So, now it's just about whether or not her tour breaks even and if she can sell it for streaming.

The thing about Keanu is that he’s not really faking it. He’s just like that. He’s just himself. I think he took a pay cut from John Wick (or some other movie I don’t remember) just so everyone else that needed to get paid would get paid appropriately.

He’s consistently real and humble and doesn’t let fame or money change him. He’s just a good dude.

Keanu has taken several pay cuts for Gene Hackman in the replacements, Al Pacino in the devil's advocate, and in various movies for the stuntmen and what you mentioned as well
I know he dropped some of his backend contract for the Matrix to ensure the SFX team was properly compensated and they had the funds to do what needed to be done. He cut his own salary for the Devil’s Advocate so they could afford Pacino because he really wanted to work with him. His whole goal is to make the best movie possible.
The biggest green flag is that he doesn’t like being praised for being a good person. He’s just a person, we all have good and bad in us, and generally we should try to be more good where we can. Keanu seems to (I don’t know I’m him obviously) think along those lines. No one’s a saint, just try be a decent person.

As a writer, this feels like JLo made a whole movie based on a first draft that needed serious rewrites. Good writing is about communication, and so if everyone who reads it & is acting in it says "i dont get it" then maybe reevaluate the way its written

In her Super Bowl documentary before they got back together and in this new documentary. Away from the glitz and glam of it all. This was her 4th marriage. She's not getting any younger. This should have been it for her. She has enough money to pull away and just be happy. But no. She had to do this. I'm convinced this project played a big role in them splitting up.

I think one of the reasons Keanu is still relatable is because he doesn't act like a 'better-than-thou' celebrity, or even a celebrity at all. My husband went to a bar a decade or so ago and sat on a bench at the back of the room with his drink, then a guy sat next to him drinking a beer and said "how's it goin?" and my husband was a bit "uh" that a stranger was talking to him, but then he looked at the guy and was surprised because it was...yeah, Keanu. They did a bit of small talk and then Keanu said he had to go because his band was ready to start playing. Anyway, the thing that struck hubby was how 'regular guy' and nice Keanu was. J-Lo is not known for humility or friendliness, and she is far past being able to seem relatable. That ship sailed and sank long ago.
Even so, he's also not at the pinnacle of his craft. He's a major star, but he's not at the top where others are trying to compete with him or start rumors because it will give them clout because he's so visible.

It's not made up. Back in the early 2000's service workers had their own site to let other workers know who was worth going the distance for and who to watch out for. Keep in mind, some celebs may monopolize most of your night with 1 table demanding special treatment and these people work for TIPS. J.lo always made the top worst. The two I remember the most was her leaving a 70 cent tip for $90 meal and just $10 for a $1200 dinner. Even Vegas mentioned something similar in 2016 during her residency. She's always been a bad tipper.

They purchased the vehicle and had it customized for her and when it was approved ALL STAFF had to sign the most insane NDA! No one but the manager (my brother) could talk directly to her and everyone had to avert their eyes when she came in. There was a bunch of stipulations about not looking at her ass, not looking at her in the eyes, not looking at her period. They basically had to pretend she wasn’t there BUT, they were expected to welcome her. She was so rude to my brother and he said the only thing about the experience that was remotely decent was that she is way more beautiful in person… which was annoying. She drove the car out, paparazzi of course just so happened to be there, and she had the car returned and it was never driven in the time that she had it.
Remember Madonna “Truth or Dare” documentary? She had her entire tour and life filmed and Warren Beatty (her boyfriend at the time) was in it and it was amazing! This J Lo doc is like what you get when you order Truth or Dare from Temu.
