@@Hildegardvonblingin It's a good one. Jaina Proudmoore's voice artist sings it. It's really good - some weird syllabic agogic accents but it's my favorite song from the lore. (even though I'm a horde player for life) Thanks for the reply! You're the best - I play your video all the time in my music classroom. My kids love you and Whitney's Holdin' Out For A Hero video!

I've never played Baldur's Gate, but this song is gorgeous.
Not many people have played this one. The video came out on the exact time of the game's release on PC.
Granted, it's been in early access for 3 years, but a lot of people have been holding off on it to get the full experience.
I didn't much like Baldur's Gate 1, but the instrumental music was really good.

@@MatthewFutrell BG1&2 cannot really be compared to BG3 IMO. That's like saying strawberries are "leaps and bounds compared to" blueberries. It's way too different and more close to Divinity games rather than the classic Baldur's Gate games.
Any cover I hear from Hildegard von Blingin gives me so much joy 😊 The way she sings provides a great level of peace in this hectic confusing world ❤

@@eddiehillergrand8882 the tune is, yes. it plays in the background a lot, especialy in cutscenes. had no idea what it was called, but every time i see a video, i ususaly hear this.

One of my favorite parts of this song is that it continually builds when you're building your character - so after about an hour or so of customizing and indecision, I heard this and became completely enamored by it.
I spent so much time customizing my Tav the song really does draw you in and make you forget about the movement of time

@@sebaseba6710 That sucks man. Do you not have an ethernet cable laying about? I was on 1.7mbps this morning wireless, but ethernet (along with unplugging my broadband modem for a few mins to reset it) has brought me up to 220+ Mbps.

Never heard this song before. The musical arrangement is haunting. The lyrics, voice, and harp weave and fade in and out of the background sounds. Only part of each are heard. The effect mirrors the songs meaning - to grasp and enjoy now what you have. Beautiful.

Oh it's really quite promising, if you're into tactical CRPGs and/or D&D, no need for prior experience with the prequels; and if you take your time during character creation, the original you will listen to plenty :)

Even if you've no prior experience with d&d like me, BG3 is a very accessible game and a great time with friends providing you get people who can cooperate, I'm having a great time with it. Worth every penny.
