The best instructions for this that I’ve seen. I can do this….
Thank you!
Thank you for explaining why sometimes I get islands and sometimes I don't when I weld! Finally I know the secret- frustration no more!
No problem! Happy to help!
Excellent instructions! Thank you so much for this!
Thank you for your kind comments :)
Would be nice if the pocketing could virtually do the combining of the vector paths. Being kept as text so it would all be procedural, without having to copy to a working layer.
Thank you, very clear instruction.
Thank you for your kind comments - glad you enjoyed the tutorial :)
what the difference between moving and copying to a new layer, why not copy the bottom text to a bottom text-safe layer instead of moving and copying the top text to a safe layer? just trying to understand the difference.
Thank you for sharing this
I'm curious if anyone has done this by carving down into the letters 2 layers. So you would machine into the words, and then deeper into the date for example. I'm curious if there is anything one needs to change to get this effect? I'd like to do it with a project, but need input :-)
Thanks! Awesome!
Thank you Terrel! :)
Use larger area clearance tool is no longer in the pocket toolpath dialog box. Is there a new way to do this ?>
Hi Jeffery, you are correct since this video was created we have made improvements to the pocket toolpath. Rather than specifying a "larger area clearance tool" you just add new tools into your tool list. To learn more about the new pocket toolpath take a look at this video here: ruclips.net/video/CF1Vve14q3Q/видео.html I hope this helps!
good tutorial!
