I’m a big Lukather fan & the Bradshaw era gets criticized but some of favourite tones are actually from Michael Landau in that era. Stuff like Eros Ramazzotti (Dove C’e Musica) [Vinnie, Nathan & Michael were a crazy good lineup for a record!. Lei Pero perfect example of less is more!]and Richard Marx stuff always pleasing to the ear! Great use of effects but tone was good too! 👍🎵 ❤️ 🎸

Very nice !!! Is there a similar patch than can be made on my Axe Fx 2 XL+ ? I don't see a 160 compressor option or the H3000? I use the CAE-3 clean preamp patch quite often. It has an amazing clean tone!

To recreate the DBX comp, you need to use the FF (Feed Forward) type comp in the Compressor block (not sure if that's available in the Axe-fx 2), auto attack and release, RMS detection and aim at about 8/10db of reduction. For the H3000, use the detune setting in the Pitch block, hard pan the two voices, L -9 cents, R +9 cents, with a 25ms of delay on the right. That's the classic Eventide micropitch shift setting
Awsome time and playing. Stupid question form means : Is there essence in this tone very heavy use of compression? Intervjuet know there's reverb,chorus ..delay and a all that. But the tone seems very squished, all most don't sound like a guitar at all.

I think that you just sold an Axe-FX III. Seriously. I've been on the fence about going digital, but this sound is closer than I've been able to get , even with my old 80s gear (JCM800, MP-1, etc.)......

Rocco insert the eventide h3000 for micropitch 9 n 9 cents for left and right and tri chorus along the micropitch for landsu or dann huff or Thompson
