What a beautiful park. I also look for Dark Sky areas for just viewing and photography. Definitely on my list to visit.
The park represents what much of that part of the SW looked like before man put blade to ground and scraped off the beauty of the natural desert.
    Thanks again....👍👍

This is a beautiful park! I really want to go there with my own little camper. I wish you could say a word about whether there are pole truth or all back in spaces when you’re reviewing a Park also mention about cell phone service. That would really be helpful I know a lot of us have Campendium etc. but when I’m looking at the place and it looks as beautiful as your videos, I’d like to know those things right away! Anyway you take lovely photos and great videos and I want to thank you for sharing them.

Thank you for the input Lee. I will definitely start mentioning that information! If you haven't been to Picacho peak campground yet, they have pull thru sites and the reception is good. Thanks again.

After viewing this video a couple of weeks ago I ventured out to see it yesterday. A very beautiful park indeed. Since my childhood I traveled the 60 East to New Mexico no less than twice a year since, I'm in my 60s, 😉... anyways I always admired Gold Canyon throughout all those years. It's sad to see all the growth and changes. The park side of it is beautiful though.
I'll be posting my own video of my adventure soon.
