      It looked like a fun session but he didn’t really learn much for his sport at all, he’s a teenager here and an Olympic wrestler. There’s no wall wrestling and barely any bottom positions in Chase’s sport. And hell yeah I love soccer, I don’t feel the need to put down one sport in particular to make myself sound tough. If you’re participating in anything competitive you have my respect. I’m just pointing out sth factual here, this session did nothing for his skill development, he can build mental toughness doing his real professional sport too. Yeah and then khabib explained like even though khabib was going easy on chase and didn't use his raw power but simply offensive techniques , he still was not giving chase any chance as once he had chase with technique he was not gonna let him esacpe whereas Islam was not even trying to ise his technique offensively but only in a defencive way. Giving chase multiple chance to shhot and be offensive while Islam remained calm and didn't do much. So khabib in way was saying that Islam was giving you space otherwise he is very good. Coz he was his sparring partner even before khabib came into ufc. In ufc introduction when he was selected khabib introduced Islam makachev and one other guy as his sparring partner , so he definitely knows how good Islam is.

  • @malteseifyouplease6735
    @malteseifyouplease6735 3 года назад +143

    The kid did great. He has just not trained to wrestle with his back to a wall, plain and simple. Then when he was on his back, he was just much physically weaker and not used to some of the mma holds which are illegal in high wrestling. If it was a take down drill, I think the kid wins best out of 10, he is clearly an elite wrestler.

    • @malteseifyouplease6735
      @malteseifyouplease6735 3 года назад +20

      @Magd Zeidan yes I see your point. I’m just going by this one video clip. He couldn’t take the kid down without using the wall. If he was dominant in take down skills, that would have been clear immediately. Again just from the short clip, the kid more than held his own on their feet.

    • @malteseifyouplease6735
      @malteseifyouplease6735 3 года назад +10

      Yes I agree he was not going all out . But he did need to use the wall each time he took the kid down. There is such difference in physical strength, but when someone really dominates a take down drill they can score consecutive clean take downs in seconds - that’s exactly what the kid was able to avoid - judging just from the short clip.

      @@thelazydire Nah man, first of all the wrestler is physically going to be the stronger one in a random fight 9/10. It takes ALOT of weight difference in fat like the average joe has (the average random agressive Joe is either skinny fat or fat fat) to compare to a decent wrestler and above all wrestlers are absurdly fast. It's not even remotely the same as it looks here, I'm being honest here this is a fun experience, go into an MMA gym and see if you can spar a wrestler or just ask him to shoot on you and see what it looks like from a first person perspective, it's nuts. The guy can be 10kg lighter than you and you'll get picked up like a grocery bag before you even know it. This might not sound "fun" but trust me if the guy's a good sport and you're all nice about it too then it can be really really weird to feel just that kind of speed and strength applied on you.
      Though it's not really self defence in the same way that running away is self defence, also it's worse than it seems for controlling damage. Don't listen to randoms who say "Yeah bro you can armbar a guy or choke him out" cause irl people don't tap, they got the iq of a refrigerator, either you just choked someone out in public (very illegal) or you broke sth (also illegal) which are both very hard to justify legally, "But why didn't you let go?" "cause then he'd just attack me again?" "that's not for you to say, you should have let go" is what you'll almost definitely hear.
