@@RyanCampFilms Finalise their scripts. Or they get approved by the studios who then panic when they see dailies and tell the director that isn't what they wanted to see. Rogue One is such an example. The original script went into production with not all the characters dying and then when they had shot the whole movie somebody realised it needed to match Star Wars which directly followed it storywise, hence the reshoots
