A friend once said that if you get to where your going park your car and dont look back at it after you parked it. Your car doesnt matter to you. This is the absolute best MCM episode ever. This just changes the way I see cars period.
I love how many people are slagging this off and getting angry but you can't deny the reaction from the crowd. This is a popular look because it costs very little and it does turn heads, in Europe powerful cars are very expensive so this is alternative way for kids with no money to get noticed, its just a bit of fun plus if you have a minor accident or someone vandalises your car it just adds to the look. Its very liberating.

Owned a 800 pounds vw Mach 3 with 250 000 miles on board. GREAT CAR as long as you change the oil and filters on time (50 quids all of them) that car will do more than 200 000 miles !!! After that switched to a honda and a nissan .. totally rubbish! No comfort, noisy, unsafe, used loads of fuel and oil :)) had to change head gasket, cv joints, alternator, starter motor, bushes, power steering pump and so on (spare parts quite expensive)!
I own now a 2006 VW PASSAT which is really cheap to run, economical, confortable, SAFE, reasonably fast, and easily customisable once you know how to use VAG programs (VCDS). So German cars all the way!!!

I'm from Canada (one of the not-so-cold parts), and I didn't even know salt trucks existed anywhere, here every winter we instead get a truck that dumps a bunch of fine gravel on the road. It helps for traction, but the rocks are still on the sides of the street come summer time, so it's really annoying. I'm nit even sure if they've done it in the last few years because there's only gravel on the sides of my street now and it's still winter. My city's upkeep is really bad though, so they do a really bad job on ploughing the snow when there's a good 30cm everywhere (it can take 3 days or never for them to get the residential areas), then they can't even build a street corner right where a year ago the buses literally had to go on the wrong side of the road to make a right turn, and it took the city two tries to fix it.

In the Netherlands guys who are 19 or 20 and just got their licence get one of these golfs, paint it matte black, put chrome rims on it, some extremely loud and oversize exhaust and drive like an idiot ignoring all trafic rules and think they're cool.

in Holland you see much of this style's on golf's my mate has an mkII, which is 1.8cm from the ground high (front bumper) but your guys are putting it to the max! greeeeeaaat job!
